Yes, that would be a great idea. I for one, don't even bother to answer the teen questions. I find them annoying since they are basically children and the questions they ask are so juvenile. For example: There's this boy in my class and he sits two rows ahead of me and he stares all the time. Do you think he likes me? UUugghh! I skip right by those to the more adult questions. I would like to just get right to a category on my level and answer question in that league under Singles & Dating. If that's your concept, I say kudos to you for thinking of that. ';-)

Yes I do. I`m not what you would call "a spring chicken" and am quite wary at times on answering a question when I dont know If the recipient is 14 or 40. Im sure you would be wasting you time suggesting this to Yahoo as It would seem they never take action on suggestions. I asked a question on here some time ago that received about 25 favourable answers. I suggested my query to Yahoo and never heard a dicky bird. But give it a go

Why would you wish to exclude the young from receiving answers from more experianced members? This seems selfish to me. I do not mean to offend, I am honestly curious why you would wish such a section. I enjoy interacting with people of all ages. I think the youth here bring something valuable to the table. Their take on the world as they view it. It is possible for the young to teach the older generation. They are valuable and viable members of society. Plus, they are the leaders of our future so why limit what contact they have with such a large community of adults? That would not benefit any of us. I just don't understand where your mind is on this, what you think it would accomplish. Perhaps if you added more of your thought process on why you think this would be benefitial to the community we could see what it is you are tryiing to accomplish. I honestly believe a seperate section for "adults only" is a form of age discrimination. I also do not believe any would benefit from this, and we, as a community, would be harmed doing such a thing. This would create great harm, more than I can enumerate here. One is the devaluation of our youth. They would feel we adults do not value them or their thoughts, ideas, and beliefs. We would also be denying them the wisdom adults gain through living life. These are only two of the detrimental affects I see from having an "adlut only" section. Our youth need to consider the adult world as they are entering it very soon. It is a positive step in aiding them to see how adults think, feel, and view issues. This allows them to begiin processing more mature views, to develope and grow. It gets them thinking and isn't this a positive benefit for them? I think it is important and valuable. I am going to have to agree to disagree with you on this one. Oh, just so you know, I am forty three. I wish you a good day.

definatly not, although there are some areas where this would work, areas such as gaming, computing, motor mechanics and many more would be lost in an age specified catagory. i dont care if its a 60 year old or a 15 year old sharing there knowledge.
i guess i would fall into the teens section (17)

It's a good idea but it's really problematic. Since people are going to lie about which category they are from. Like many things in life, this is another thing that you add to the list.

Yes. It's really annoying to see the teens dominate this category.

That would be nice, as this place seems to get swamped at times, so fast the good stuff gets overlooked in place of "does he-she like me"s

That would work for the majority of things, but what about gaming questions or comptuer questions which span all 3 of your areas?
