You'll always be forgiven if you ask for forgiveness.

It's good to keep in mind, though, that forgiveness doesn't always mean avoiding natural consequences. If you murder or steal, God will forgive you, but the court system and your conscience might not let you off scott free.

Don't use that approach, when you're seeking help. It shows your dishonesty. You're not really seeking forgiveness with your heart and soul, when you're pointing your finger at everybody else. To answer your question: sin is the transgression of God's law; and God's law is the 10 Commandments. Scripture tells us that if you break one law, you have broken the whole law. There is no degree of sin, which means that one sin is as bad as many.

Understand that the 10 Commandments are for God's chosen people. If you are not a follower of Christ, it doesn't matter how many Commandments you have broken. You are yet in your sins and eternally separated from God. The 10 Commandments can only have meaning in your life, if you come to the realization of the truth and are reconciled with Him.

Actually, there are more like 487 commandments. Everyone has broken dozens of them at least. The ten everyone mentions were given to Moses on the Mountain. Christ reduced all to just two...Love God, and love your fellow man as yourself. If you love God you will not worship false Gods, etc. If you love your fellow man, you will not: lie to, steal from, etc, him (her). If you confess, and repent, and ask for forgivness, you will be forgiven no matter how many you have broken. If you do not get forgiven, you will have a warm eternity.

Christians are not here to judge those who sin. I have probably broken most of the commandments myself in one way or another. The thing is that Jesus died on the cross to let our sins be forgiven. Read John 3:16 in the Bible.
Wether you have broken one or all, as long as you ask to be forgiven, you will be!!!
God Bless!!!

Ok i can bet you a million people will say you are going to hell. Thats not true. Thats what separates us from god. He loves us. He knows if you are truly sorry then you will be forgiven. Its not that hard to be forgiven. God just wants you to learn from your mistakes and not repeat them. I personally dont think your going to hell. Thats my opinion but i know god loves us and does not want us to suffer. At the end of the day though its up to god, not me, not you, no one! and even though the law can punish people for their mistakes, god has the final say when we are all dead. Just have faith in god and youll be fine. And i would never judge you or anyone else because i dont have any right, no one is better then anyone else, only god has the right to judge us.

Hope that helped.

We are told to run as if we are in a race for the prize.
If you are running a race and you take a fall ,you don't just sit there and quit. You get up knock the gravel out of your knees and run again until you reach the finish line.
That is the way with sin ,if you fall, ask God o forgive you and get back in the race looking forward to the finish ,not dwelling on what is behind you. The whole concept is to finish the race. Not to get left on the side of the track. ok

It depends on what you want:
Whe the time comes and the Man is judged, he will he saved by faith - John 3:15,16,36, 5:24,
20:31, Acts 2:21, 16:30,31, Rom 1:17, 5:1,9,11,18,
10:9, Gal 2:16, Phil 3:9, Eph 2:8,9

Man judged/saved by works and lifestyle - Psalm 62:12,
Proverbs 24:12, Matthew 7:21, 16:27, 19:16,17, 25:31-
46, Luke 14;13-14, John 5:29, Acts 10:35, Rom
2:6,7,9,10, 1 Cor 3:8

so, u can do wethever u want in the first one, and be saved if you have faith. in the second one, you can only be saved by your lifestyle, in other words, if you dont follow the commandments, you are screwd.

The Bible states that if you break the least of the law, you have broken the whole law. This is in agreement with the teachings of Christ that no unclean thing can enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. Stated further, He cannot look upon sin with the least degree of allowance.
However, we balance that seeming harshness with many passages indicating Christ's mercy if we will truly repent of our sinful ways and follow Christ. There are few sins bad enough to qualify as unforgiveable. Murder, wherein you shed innocent blood and the denial of the Holy Ghost after having received a fullness of knowledge, are the only two that are listed in scripture.
Thus, for nearly all of us, forgiveness is available if we will mend our ways and follow Him.
As for me, yes, I have committed my share of disobedient behaviors and lost favor with the Spirit accordingly. I labor constantly to improve myself and to become more like Christ. I suppose only Christ Himself will be able to tell me whether I have succeeded in repenting fully. That is my goal, to become like Him as much as is possible.
So, the short answer is yes, you can be forgiven if you repent with full purpose of "heart and soul" as you have said.

It doesn't matter how many you commited, all that matters is being repentant (sorry), asking God to forgive you, and asking Jesus into your heart.

The wages of sin are death whether you only commited one in your whole life, or many each hour. In fact Jesus set the standard at our thoughts not just our actions (Matthew 5:21-28).

Whatever you've done, God has saved worse. Paul started out killing Christians untill Jesus appered to him. The man who wrote Amazing Grace had been the captain of a slave ship. Listen to what he wrote:

"Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost, but now am found, was blind but now I see."

Edit: Jesus said in Mark 2:17 "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

We're never going to get them all right all the time, Jehovah is a forgiving God. If you're sincerly sorry for what you've done, and this means you wont do them again, you'll be fine.
For if we practice sin willfully after having received the accurate knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left. hebrews 10:26. so don't make it a habit.

God doesn't count how many sins you have commited to see whether he will forgive you or not. If you have told a small white lied to someone God will see that as just as bad as being a mass murderer and breaking all 10 commandments. God will forgive you if you are truely sorry however many sins you have commited. I have lost count of how many times I've sinned and yet still God forgives me, he is truely awesome.
