Disrespectful children. A child does not Have to like you a child does not have to love you. But a child Must always respect You. Oh and By the way even a stay at home Parent should never follow behind any child and pick up after them at anytime.

My children are all adults now, but my biggest problem raising them was peer pressure. It was hard to explain to my children that they had rules to live by when their friends didn't. The funny thing about it was everyone liked to come to my house to hang out; but I was considered the meanest Mom in the neighborhood. I'm sure there's a lesson there, but no one has ever explained it to me.

The ex and ex mother in law spoiling the kids and the kids
having a raised expectation of certain things and then me
having to be the bad guy and bring their expectations back
down to earth.

None really! Just rear them right.. If I had a peeve it would be the influence that children who are not being given proper training have on all the potentially good kids. Shame on those parents!

I have a blended family, so it is mostly dealing with the "he's not my dad" and "your not my mom." Funny you say that about the mother in law, mine is the same way! And when ever I start talking about something we have planned or that we're doing she gives me this "I don't think you know what you're doing, let me do it for you" look. Yuck!!

My pet peeves are: NO SMOKING around my kid, NO CUSSING around my kid, and NO you can't share your food/and or fork/spoon with my kid! lol I clean up a mess if I see one but not always immediately after. I am a stay-at-home mom, though. I give my daughter small chores and I let her run her own bath water, with my help, of course. She is almost 2 years old.

Well mine isnt having to do with the kids at all in the sense of the way they act.
mine is I HATE beyond anything people comparing my kids to eachother. (My twins) DONT compare them! they are 2 completly different people. NO one is not the naughty one and the other the good one, NO one isnt the more outgoing one. It just makes me beyond crazy!

I can't stand random strangers who feel they have a right to just walk up and touch my baby and then start telling me why my baby is crying (he hates the stroller, cries everytime we are in the store). HANDS OFF my baby please, I don't know where you have been!!
I actually had a woman in Target last month walk out of the aisle mumbling to herself how terrible I am when I told her please don't touch my kids.
