I've noticed this and don't get it. Hair was put there for a REASON-to prevent invections and such. I understand why one would trim it down low because it looks better kempt and you can't see it with swimsuits, but I don't get why a lot of women feel that if they don't shave it ALL off, then their significant others will find them gross or unattractive. What do you think?

I think a lot of ladies feel pressure (sometimes from sexual partners, sometimes from media) to have little or no hair down there. The Internet, movies, and magazines show women this way and it has just kinda creeped into becoming "normal" in our society. Even websites that are supposed to be women in their natural state of beauty, depict women with little or no pubic hair. I think hair was put there for there for a reason and find it disgustingly creepy to think of being completely hairless. It's up to everyone to stand their ground and not be embarrassed. Many guys (or girls) will complain that they like it shaved b/c of hair getting in the way and it has become visually appealing b/c of what they are becoming used to. But, it's all personal preference in the end, and if you are with someone you love, they will be accepting.

shave it some but leave a short triangle or landing strip all off looks too young need to look like a woman

I am used to shaving it completely. My boyfriend likes it better too. When he goes down for oral, he says it's much better & not such a turn off. The smoothness is a turn on, I hear.

I don't shave all mine off. That looks like a little girl and I am not a little girl. I don't want a forest either. I keep it neatly trimmed.

Personally I think it feels more pleasant - not itchy or anything - and there's no unsightly hair poking out of one's knickers. And obviously you increase sensitivity in your special area because it's one less blockade between you and your partner. It's a personal choice, really.

To be a bit blunt, When it's completely shaved, your partner doesn't get hair in their mouth... or tickle their nose....

hmm I think it's because some guys DO find it gross if the girl doesn't shave. I think it looks better shaved anyways. =)

i prefer mine shaved because i think it looks like you dont care about grooming if its not neat

i don't like a forest over there. i prefer my girl to have some hair over there.just to make it look a bit sexy.
