Aagh. Of course. They were kicked out. Magley, there are plenty of times I ask myself that same quyestion.
'Warrior...'-If you take the time and do some of your own research, you'll see the massive amount of errors and contradictions that are in the Bible. How do I know this? By reading and doing research...also by asking questions. If you're so smart, why have I learned nothing new from you? What brilliant observation has your ignorance ever come up with?

'You reap...'-You've obviously put a lot of thought and study into this (I respect you for that) but I disagree that the NT Satan and the adversary called a satan in the OT are the same.

It saddens me how much people don't know what these things are all about. But when people read things literally in their superstitious ignorance, what can one say?

In the bible, in the Torah there is absolutely NO mention of this whatsoever. If we speak from the perspective of the Torah (4 books of Moses) the only antagonist that exist is the Yaweh God ( The Elohim which in Gnostic terms would be called Archons/Rulers of this world), which is an allegory about laws which work upon the mind and being. There is no Satan there. In the New Testament, Satan is seen as the prince of this world/God of this World, and that the pharisaic in mindset those who are outward in understanding is their source or Father, just as the scriptural allegorical Yeshua said to the Jews (not literal people, but a mindset) "your father is the devil." This is the same as calling their Father the God/Prince of this World or the Demiurge.

When it comes the story about Angels falling from heaven, this relates to the story of Enoch, the Book of Enoch which is a Essene scripture as it has to do with the Dead Sea Scrolls. In the story of Enoch there was 1/3 of the Angels that fall to earth, 1/3 of the angels that stayed in Heaven and 1/3 of the angels that went inbetween heaven and earth. What this is touching upon is the very understanding of our 3 fold nature, which is comprised of a spiritual nature (heavenly), mental nature (inbetween or balance), and physical nature (earthly)and how the Angels represent the laws of God, which in this case they represent the laws of separation between heaven and earth, with the angels inbetween as the balance. The whole point that is being explain is that we must overcome the separation of heaven and earth within ourselves in the center as Sons of Man. At least that is what I see. It's all about overcoming inner division, the 1/3, 1/3, 1/3 should be a clear demonstration of what the scripture is conveying. 1/3+1/3+1/3 = 1 whole.... gezz. Oneness is what is being sought after.

It is spectacular how so many people can perceive these things literally. It is amazing.

Satan wanted all the worship for himself. He lied and deceived many angels to believe that God's rules were only for his own self gratification instead of for their own good. He didn't want to leave heaven, he was booted out along with 1/3 of the angels.

Well, to put it in simple 'laymans' terms....'They were booted out'. Satan, who was once "Lucifer, (Head Angel) the Angel of Light", head of all Angels, and those who thought like him, thought he was better than God and wanted ALL the adoration, as I read in so many posts on here.
However, Michael the "Arch Angel", through God, cast him out of Heaven, to be DAMNED forever. There is a Fresco in the Sistine Chapel in Rome, of Michael (with a Sword)casting Lucifer out of heaven.
Thus the sins, "PRIDE & ENVY"!!

What makes you think satan wanted to leave? The very reason satan wants to destroy man is because he knows man can reconcile with God, when he (satan) can't. Satan was cast out of heaven. It wasn't his choice.

they didn't WANT to leave. satan (lucifer) was thrown out of heaven because he wanted to have more power then God. He tried to become God. That was a major sin, because he thought he was God. he isn't and wasn't! So God cast them down onto the Earth. THE END!
Go to my question : Need more? and ask for more

Yes, Heaven is well. Our human minds cannot fathem all that our God has in store for his saints!!!
It will be Wonderful.
Lucifer (satan) wanted to be like God. So God
casted him out of Heaven with a third of fallen angels or something like that.
Peace be unto you.

Since Heaven is Heaven and Satan didn't just leave...how come you are asking stupid questions on here without having done any actual research to back your ignorance???

2007-12-12 06:33:05 · answer #8 · answered by Anonymous · 0 3

because when heavenly Father asked who would be savior, Satan raised his hand and said me, but I must becvome god and be all powerful!!! So god cast him away along with the people who agreed with him for his greed for power. Now satan hates us all for not joining him, and wants to bring us all down.

Satan has no love or happiness in Hell.

Their desire for power over others was unacceptable. The free will of the rest of us was that important.
