"Hitler was a Roman Catholic, baptized into that religio-political institution as an infant in Austria. He became a communicant and an altar boy in his youth and was confirmed as a "soldier of Christ" in that church. Its worst doctrines never left him. He was steeped in its liturgy, which contained the words "perfidious jew." This hateful statement was not removed until 1961. "Perfidy" means treachery... In his day, hatred of Jews was the norm. In great measure it was sponsored by two major religions of Germany, Catholicism, and Lutheranism."

Not unlike Hitler, Donohue and his organization, thinks he is a soldier of Christ but enjoys crucifying those who doesn't worship his ideologies.
Do not have any other gods before Me.
You shall not make wrongful use of the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not acquit anyone who misuses his name.
Exodus 20:2–17
Is Donohue actually promoting his own version of a god?

:Why is it so easy to everybody to Hitler?" asks Heretic Savant.
Why not? People ought to learn from history and not be persuaded to follow the same example of the dumb Nazi citizens of Nazi Germany in putting faith in another similiarly evil and self-serving lunatic in today's world. Lunatics like Osama Bin Ladin, Bill Donahue, Muqtada al-Sadr prey on the minds of those with hate in their hearts. Lunatics are very dangerous as they instill division and promote prejudice and hate. And these lunatics tend to promote hatred in the name of God or in the name of justice.

Brother G The Mormon, we should never take for granted that people of other religions, that differ from our own, don't have the intelligence to speak out.
The Third Reich gave Nazis the right to congregate in the Reich Church: http://www.historylearningsite.co.uk/church_in_nazi_germany.htm
Hitler certainly found a clever way to draw followers. And with enough support. he also found a way to act like a god. Subsequently destroying all other religions and non-Reich faith believers was his ultimate way for total control of Germany and other nations. The looney knew how to expand his power!

Hitler may have been a catholic in his youth, but in his adult life never practiced it and persecuted all monotheistic religions because they were against the third reich.
To say all Lutherans and Catholics in Germany during 1933-1945 were anti-semite and help practice hate against all those against the Nazis were a lie.

You created a straw man arguement using secular humanists who brandish religion on those they hate and to say religion made him do it is wrong.

As for Donahue he has is views but I may disagree with him, but that doesn't make him a Nazi.

Hitler was born Catholic but only went to Mass because his father forced him. After his father died, Hitler never went back to church. He left it. Hitler is what you would call a former Catholic and it was his days of living as an artist that led to his anti-Semitism . Of the 14 milllion that were killed by Hitler, 6 of them were Jews and the rest were Protestants, Catholics, and anyone else who disagreed with him. He didn't have a conscience. You should look for mroe information on Hitler if you want to learn about what you're talking about. As for Donohue, he is just a jerk.

I think that Mr. Donohue is a modern day idiot. Beyond that, I don't give him any credit whatsoever. The man believes he speaks for God...the man behaves as if he is more important than the Pope. I think he's a nut.

Why is it so easy to compare everybody to Hitler? I mean, no matter what the forum, no matter what the debate, there is 5% chance that Hitler will be brought up in any given sentence...I just don't understand it...
