Hey guys, I have to write a persuasive paper over why religion is not for everyone. I havent had a lot of time to search, but havent had a lot of luck finding articles about this subject. Most are just peopls blogs and irrelevant stuff like that. Does anyone have any good information or websites dealing with this? Anything would be appreciated, thanks

If I wasnt so busy, I could search myself for a while, but I was wondering if anyone knew if a site that had good stuff so I wouldnt have to spend time browsing.

I dont want to "attack" religion, I just want to find some evidence I can use to prove why religion doesnt have to be for everyone.

That is one of the strangest assignments I've ever heard of. Did your teacher give you the chance to opt out of this? I mean, if you personally are more or less indifferent to religion, there may not be a problem, but that would really upset me, if I didn't have a chance to defend a sincerely held belief. Contact the American Center for Law and Justice, at http://www.aclj.org if you've tried everything else and are being required to do this. In fact, they may have some material along these very lines.

I wish you good success in your research, as I don't really know of many sites to help, for lack of a better term, downplay the importance of faith and religion in life.

Every religion is differant and people think that some/most of the religions make you quit doing alot of differant things. A good idea is check the differant religions and what their beliefs are and you could use that in your paper. Here is one source for Seventh Day Adventist beliefs: http://www.adventist.org/beliefs/
I hope this will help you out some

Well, that's horrible. This is a PERFECT example of how schools turn out atheistic people.
Don't ever say Christianity, and belief in God is NOT under attack.
