This is just one of my teachers view and she is very sweet so its not a hate thing. And I have been reading about past lives but don't really believe in it but you never know I guess :>/
Anyway Atheists are lower level spirits that will someday come back and will have a religion if not they continue to come back.
The true religion is one that believes in Jesus and God. Once they reach that level they have to learn other things just like everyone else. So there really behind growth wise.
I found it very interesting and a new view point.
What are your thoughts on this?
She said the highest level is when you no longer have to return to earth.

I just stated I don't believe in past lives but is interesting to read but some people believe that when Jesus came back that was a form of it.

I personally think that your teacher is talking very sensible. Christianity might go against reincarnation but nowadays you can't be sure of anything. There are atheists, new age thinkers, and so many other types of believers. Doesn't it ever occur to somebody that why are some people born rich and some people poor? Why are some people more fortunate and the others less fortunate? It just can't be that it happens without a reason or for just because of balance and such. What is the poor or less unfortunate person's fault then that he has to suffer a lifetime? Eternal heaven or hell is also a thing which indicates that there is only one life and only one chance. But reincarnation and karma is a more logical explanation and it seems more likely to happen. Now a time is coming when every belief and known fact is being questioned. Everything is changing. So, I think its better that we see for ourselves what is true and what is not, which can be attained by the communion of our body with our higher selves. If you want more logical explanation and also facts, you could go to this site: www.edgarcayce.org. You could also buy a book called Star Signs by Linda Goodman.

I don't think they are very serious about the topic. I think like many topics people latch on them for a sense of belonging. I also feel the topics reflect the person in many ways. Subcultures are very understood why people need a sub culture or underground etc. Anyways each to their own I am sure people peg me for something i disagree with as well.

I'm arrogant enough to say that I'm not a "new soul"
but I do think its interesting...
or maybe souls aren't placed into the being... but formed together with conciousness?
and that does sound some belief people were telling me

I think that she is placing Buddhist beliefs over Christianity.
There is nothing in the bible to indicate reincarnation. (At least not a cyclic, karma based version)
And what evidence does she have to back this claim up?
Without any evidence it is meaningless. I might as well claim that atheists have the souls that have surpassed the level of Buddha. Or that atheists have the reincarnated souls form another universe. Or whatever stokes my ego the most.

What sort of religion is that??? Most Christianity, apart from Moron-, er, Mormonism, teaches that there's only one life and NO reincarnation. Sounds like a lame mash-up of Xianity and seriously watered-down Hinduism. Also, if there's any sort of spiritual hierarchy, people who are quick to condemn other peoples' spiritual paths as inadequate-like your teacher-are probably on the bottom of the reincarnation chain themselves...

I'm not sure what subject your teacher is teaching you, but I don't think that's right.
The point of reincarnation is to achieve wholeness of the soul, not to find the "true" religion that believes in Jesus and God.

Ha ha. No wonder atheists are the least trusted minorities. It's like when Christianity believed (or in some cases still believe) that blacks were a 'lower species' of humans. I'm sure they didn't find that hateful, either, but I'm sorry to be the one to break it to you... it is.

"...it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment." Hebrews 9: 27
We only go round once. Today is the day of salvation. After death it is too late to accept the free gift Jesus offers us.

I would tend to think directly opposite. Those that need a magical father figure who creates the universe just for them, plants fossils just to test us.That's pretty damn immature.I doubt they've been around the block before.Pretty immature and silly to believe that balony in the course of ONE lifetime. If you get another, surely you will outgrow cavemen myths
