Alot to do with 2012.
I've read alot about Christ coming back in the spirit, rather than the flesh.

I'm not really educated with this whole Mayan concept.
Any info would be great.
Thanks.

I am very excited about 2012. No doubt it is going to be the beginning of a whole new awareness. As far as I know that would be the beginning of a new age. It would be the beginning of the Aquarian Age. i don't really know about the Christ coming back in spirit. But, I think that means that all the teachings of the Christ would be brought into consideration by people and also followed by heart so maybe that is what is meant when said that Christ coming back in spirit form not the body. Many rumours are there that 2012 is the end as the Mayan calender ends there, but actually it is not the end. Rather it is a new beginning. A beginning of spiritual awakening for all.

There is no date as to when the end of this system will occur. No one knows except for God. The Bible does tell us the sign to look for.

In trying to understand these things, the apostles asked: “When will these things be, and what will be the sign when all these things are destined to come to a conclusion?”—Mark 13:4; Matthew 16:21, 27, 28; 23:37–24:2.

Jesus foretold that there would be wars, famines, pestilences, earthquakes, hatred and persecution of Christians, false messiahs, and a widespread preaching of the good news of the Kingdom. Then the end was to come. (Matthew 24:4-14; Mark 13:5-13; Luke 21:8-19)

The day is coming like a thief in the night. 1 Thessalonians 5:2. The Bible says times will be like the day of Noah. No one listened to him that the flood was coming and no one will listen that the end of this world is coming. 2 Peter 3:3-7. But keep on the watch. Matthew 24:42.

Those who make this claim are false teachers. Some Christians deny a physical reappearance of Christ, which the Bible clearly states. They believe that Christ's return will be just a "spiritual awakening". This belief comes from New Age beliefs, not Christianity. And the guy, Harold Browning, I believe, who came up with the "2012" theory was proven wrong in 1994. Don't trust him again. The Bible warns specifically against date-setting.

I don't believe that bologna about 2012. No man knows the time or the hour of Christs return. The bible says that in the latter days that God will pour out His Spirit upon all flesh. This will be a glorious time not a fearful time. The fearful time will come in the Great Tribulation. michelle

Christians do not believe the world will end on 2012. 2012 merely signifies the end of Mayan calendar. Unfortunately, people are way to obsessed with the Mayans.

My opinion is that it in simple terms would not remember what is going to ensue in 2012! i be attentive to, i be attentive to... the Mayans say that we are going to bypass a worldwide, the I Ching e book says an identical factor. Then numerous predictors say additionally that we are going to bypass a "cycle". besides the undeniable fact that it in simple terms would not remember! i'm not petrified of what that is going to ensue. besides, if Jesus is going to return He would not do something that could desire to break us. Our souls will stay intact besides! My very very own opinion is that God is making a "grooming" the worldwide. i'm very particular that we live for the time of the Apocalypse. Many ailments will come. Many organic mess ups will come. basically good human beings will bypass this. you spot... each thing is going incorrect!!! I stay in Romania, that is in Europe and here we in no way had such phenomenas like desertification and tornadoes. the worldwide in no way experienced such mess ups like the massive tsunami in 2005 or the extensive tornadoes in united states of america. the worldwide "is being wiped clean" via God. interior the Bible we are able to discover that devil will fantastically much rule the worldwide interior the final days of the humanity. there will be many organic mess ups (the Bible skill that there will be "a celebrity falling from the sky on the seas and the third area of the seas would be bitter" (or something like that). besides, the priority isn't significant. The souls are each thing that particularly concerns. We must be extra advantageous so as to bypass this "Grand Grand attempt".

2012 has nothing whatsoever to do with the returning of Jesus to get his children....or any spiritual awakening in the church....

It has to do with a bunch of superstitious people who used to sacrifice their children and made a calendar......some think because it ends in 2012,,the world will...

God doesn't work on a time frame....he has no beginning and no end....time was made for man,,,,,when he say time will be no more...it is over.......not what some superstitious bunch of degenerate,,,child sacrificing idiots....have to say. And don't give me the bit about all their great accomplishments,,,,,who cares? All cultures contribute something to the masses....not always for their good.

When Christ does return it will be in the flesh and it isn't going to be pretty for the non-believers in G-d.
Yes they will seem to be winner beheading the conservative Christians and Jews.
Israel will be on the brink of colaspe.

Than He will return and vent his wrath on those who violated His people.
