There is no marketed generic form of adderall or adderal XR. As the previous answer stated it is a mixture of amphetamines all of which are controlled substances. If you are interested in the exact salts that are mixed to form adderall XR go to wikipedia or just type "adderall" into Yahoo! web search. There are a number of informative links on the med but wikipedia has the best short summary.

In wikipedia they describe an dextroamphetamine sulfate marketed as Dexedrine which is cheaper than adderall and has similar effect. It is not a strict generic equivalent of adderall XR. It should be noted that all these medications are potentially addictive and have a bad reputation on withdrawal.
