What kind of BARN does one have to be raised in to consider a sadistic, immoral, killer Jesus-God who drowned, plagued, and slaughtered millions (more than Hitler), conspired to have his own kid/self brutally beaten and killed, hardened hearts so he could torture people, and repeatedly COMMANDED his followers to kidnap, rape, hurt, and kill others - to be 'love'?.

When you sin against God, that is when you are punished. When your parents sin, and they dont teach you of God, then if you want to learn of God then he will show you. I believe that every one has a chance to get to know God, some refuse, and some will follow from the beginning of their knowlegde.
Also when you ask for something from God. Say for instance, patience, sometimes he will give you something to be patient about.
If you are a believer, you have to be a believer all the way. Because if you dont then you WILL pay the consequences. I am recently just getting back into my Christianity. I realized that without God, nothing is possible. I have been leading a really bad life, and things had gone so wrong. I lost my son to his dad, I've been on the streets with nothing at all, in and out of abuse centers, we get behind on bills, stay in fear that we could lose everything we have in a matter of days. Right at this very moment, I am scared to death of losing everything we have because we are so behind, and I have two young kids here in my home now.
But I stand firm with my beliefs, because I know God will help us if I continue to do right by him.
Also remember that ALL people will eventually leave this Earth. We werent meant to stay here. We all have our time when we are suppose to go. Wether your ready or not.And thats why we must make the best out of our everyday lives. Anything could happen at any given time. The whole World could end at any given second.
So make the best of what you have no matter what.

Yes, it's true that "the wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23), but the gift of God is eternal life through our Lord Jesus Christ. Christ already came and paid that death penalty that has a chokehold on all humanity. All a person has to do is accept that free gift, and they will be saved from having to die twice. Everyone has to die once, but those who are saved will be resurrected to eternal physical life in a perfect body, which will make the first death inconsequential! That is my God of Love - that He loved us enough to come down here and die for us, in our place. To take the punishment we deserve so that we can live as HE deserves.
Another point is that, when the wicked are punished, fire will come down from Heaven and completely consume them. They will not be tortured forever, but they will cease to exist forever. If sinners were tortured forever in fire, that would mean that sin is stronger than God! No, God will destroy all sin and sinners, and purge this universe of it so it won't rear its ugly head again.

When the first man, Adam disobeyed and rebelled against God and all of the blessings that He has for us, we inherited that nature too. We rebel and disobey.

Rebellion and disobedience brings death upon all mankind. Remember that God told Adam and Eve that if they (disobeyed) ate the fruit they would know what sin is and they would die?

We all must now die because of our sin nature. God will not allow sin into Heaven. Heaven is the place of our reward and the place that we are invited to for eternal life with God.

The choice is ours, not God's. He SHOWED us His love for us by coming down from Heaven in the form of the man Jesus Christ and willfully giving up His life for us. His death takes our place for the death that we deserve because of our choice to disobey Him.

When we choose Jesus as our Lord and our Savior, God forgives our sins and our sin nature. He declairs us sinless. So therefore, no one has to suffer the consequences of eternal death and punishment. All they need to do is choose Jesus over death. His gift is free for us but He had to pay dearly for it.

What greater love could He have than to lay down His life for us when He had committed no wrong?

I can only assure those of you that say "nonbelievers go to hell because of their own choice..."

I most certainly will not choose to go to any hell.

If I end up there for being honest in the fact that I do not believe a god exists, then it will not be by my choice. That will be "god's" choice. He will be the one sending me there.

This is not rocket science, people.

Non-believers don't 'choose' to not believe. You either believe something, or you don't. IE: you are not convinced.

There is nothing "sinful" about honestly admitting that you are not convinced that something is real.

Could you convince yourself to believe in the Easter Bunny?

Since we all sin this , to me, is not why we are punished.
It is about John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God judges, and he looks in your heart.

The view you express is a one-sided shallow view of God that is not found in the Bible. There is NO CONTRADICTION between God's Holiness, Righteousness, and Love. They do not cancel each other out.

This is exactly what a good Bible study will help you understand. Because of the Holiness and Righteousness of God He instituted a plan of Mercy and Forgiveness that would show His Love and cause people to Glorify His name.

The sin of Adam and Eve brought sin to each individual person. We all must answer for our own sin unless we accept God's loving offer to come to him through his Son,,,who died for you. You do not have to be punished at all, if you accept Jesus as your sacrifice. Jesus atoned for all sin but only if you accept it....a gift is of no use to you, if you do not accept it and open it...it is there for you....what more can he do?

Moses was wrong. Adam & Eve did not sin. Jesus set the record straight in The Apocryphon of John. Wake up! Believe Jesus, not Moses.

you're not going to be punished eternally. Would you waste your time sending your child to die for stupid humans who don't listen half the time, if you were going to kill them or punish them eternally anyway? do you know how HORRIBLE Jesus' death was? God does love us and this is why he allowed his son (Jesus volunteered) to die for you, there's no other reason for t. it was and is out of love for you and me.
