>> When does Everlasting Life begin? At repentance?
Nope.
>> At Physical Death?
Nope.
>> What is the starting point?
1Cor. 15:51 Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
1Cor. 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1Cor. 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
1Cor. 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
1Cor. 15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
1Cor. 15:56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
1Cor. 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1Cor. 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
God bless.

Eternal life is God's Life and nature and is eternal, that is,without beginning and end and pervading time yet infinitely beyond time and is infinite as well.
For the Christian Everlasting Life starts in and for him when he first is in the state of grace
for a baptized infant that is verifiable at baptism and we all need the grace of Baptism whether or not we are actually "water baptized' or not(Baptism of Desire, etc)
Our bodies will get "Everlasting Life" at our Resurrection
yet the body of one in the state of grace already has begun to be touched by Everlasting Life.

It begins when we are born again. New birth, being born again, is an act of God whereby eternal life is imparted to the person who believes (2 Corinthians 5:17; Titus 3:5; 1 Peter 1:3; 1 John 2:29; 3:9; 4:7; 5:1-4, 18).

Praise be to Allaah.
Whoever repents, Allaah will turn to him in acceptance. Whoever seeks to draw closer to Allaah, Allaah will draw closer to him. As you have been guided and have returned to Islam and turned to Allaah, then rejoice in the news that Allaah has accepted your repentance and forgiven you. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
"And verily, I am indeed Forgiving to him who repents, believes (in My Oneness, and associates none in worship with Me) and does righteous good deeds, and then remains constant in doing them, (till his death)." [Ta-Ha 20:82]

Everlasting life begins when you enter your "everlasting life".
But the process to obtain entrance, or "access" is when you are born again. This is the born into a "new kingdom" time period. You "begin" your journey, and if you remain "in Him", you will transfer your physical walk to a spiritual walk from death to life.
Repentance "unto life" as spoken of in Acts. Repentence, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost makes you a "new creature in Christ".
Keep walking until the day He calls you home! :)

It all happens at the very moment, that we as individuals confess to Jesus that we are a sinner...please forgive me Lord for I am a sinner. And please come into my heart and be my Saviour.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:9-13
From that very second we are FOREVER Saved by Grace though Faith in the blood of our LORD and Saviour Christ Jesus.
