Depending on the model. Reba, Revelation, Pike, Lyric, Totem are pretty good forks (I think that the 2 step verison on the Lyric and Totem have had some problems, but the other ones are pretty good).
Tora and Recon are good options.
Dart is pretty much low end, nothing special.
Sid is light, also, it's light, hmm, maybe light? did I mention light? I don't recall having other thing to say about that. I would choose a Reba or Revelation to a SID, but other people go for weigth.

rock shocks are very good pro forks
they're used most on expensive hardtails

do you mean rockshox suspension by sram? if so then yes they are excellent... well depending on the model actually. the low-end models specially the forks are a bit on the stiff side but definitely durable. personally i use marzocchi forks, they just offer more in terms of my riding style but a lot of my riding buddies use rockshox. if i were to use one, it'll have to be the pike, the domain or the argyle.

rock shox are great when you get the expensive ones but, the cheap ones are ...well cheap.. go with a mnitou
