I have been dating my girlfriend for bout 5 months now and i truely love her. She was my best friend before we even starting dating, but now that we're heavy waters, i dont know if we'll go back to being friends or is the wound to deep to ever heal?

It will never be exactly the same. You might be able to go back to being friends, but it will not be the same.

yes you can go back to being friends. it may not be the same as before at first, but it will eventually go back to normal. i dont know what is with the world and saying that if you break up with someone then you never talk to them again. i honestly dont get it. if you are close enough to have a bf/gf relationshi then you are close enough to be friends

It depends on the circumstances of your break up. You may not be able to be best friends again, but you could still be friends. Also you may need to be apart from one another for a while so you can distance yourself from the stong emotions before you can renew your friendship.

some people can and some can't, it usually ends up that people are not friends or lovers.
