Though not formally known as Harshmanite (outsiders dubbed them that) the Church of Jesus Christ sect is a single denomination located near Sullivan, Illinois. It was originated approximately 100 years ago by S. R. Harshman and later led by his daughter Leah Harshman. During the draft years, they were known for being conscientious objectors. More information can be obtained through newspaper archives in that region (Decatur Herald & Review), Newspaperarchive.com and civil liberties dockets of the war years.

Good luck.
