ps3 purchase?

im am a hardcore ps2 fan who, couldn't afford the ps3 when it 1st came out, so i bought a wii. but im getting a job this summer and it shouldn't take that long to get $400 bucks. should i invest in the big black beast?

Bull Goose Looney is right. If you have invested a lot in PS2 games, start searchin for that 60GB model with reverse compatibility on it so all your investing doesn't go to waste! If you are willing to have two systems to play your PS2 games, or not play them at all, then go for the newer ones.

With all the great titles coming out for next year on the PS3, you won't have time for PS2 games anway!!! Metal Gear Solid III ! Can't wait!!!!

There is no doubt that you should invest in the PS3. If you are a PS2 fan, then the PS3 is the perfect console for you.

There is going to be some awesome sequels of games that will be on the PS3 next year, so if you liked the PS2's games you are going to love the PS3's games even more.

If you're a PS2 fan, then you should love it. All the PS2 games can also be played on PS3. I personally would prefer X-BOX 360 but everyone has a different choice. So I would say go for PS3 if that's what you want.

I loved my PS2 too, but when I got my PS3, wow, that was a serious change - it's so interesting. Also it's 35 times stronger than PS2. If you like PS2 games - get 80GB version (it supports PS2 games, unlike 40GB). 60GB is the best for PS2 games, but they bare hard to find now, Sony fatcats don't manufacture them anymore.

i have a playstation3 and i think it's awsome .the graphics are pretty cool and there are very good games for it so yeh !! i think you should buy one .
