Married in...
There's a rhyme from popular folklore that believes your marriage will take on certain characteristics depending upon the month you chose.
January - Marry when the year is new, he'll be loving, kind and true.
February - When February birds do mate, you wed nor dread your fate.
March - If you wed when March winds blow, joy and sorrow both you'll know.
April- Marry in April if you can, joy for maiden and for man.
May - Marry in the month of May, you will romance the day.
June - Marry when June roses grow and over land and sea you'll go.
July - Those who in July do wed must labour for their daily bread.
August - Whoever wed in August be, many a change is sure to see.
September - Marry in September's shine so that your life is rich and fine.
October - If in October you do marry, love will come but riches tarry.
November - If you wed in bleak November, only joys will come, remember!
December - When December's snows fall fast, marry and your love will last.

I think each month has its own "specialness" to it. Winter could be beautiful if you got married in a warm and cozy upscale lodge. Use a lot of reds, decorate with crystals and create a winter wonderland, so to speak. I was always opposed to winter weddings until I saw a show on the Style network when they did one at a Colorado lodge, and with the snowy background (the windows were open), and the bride in her fur shawl for pictures, it was all very glamourous and warm and inviting.
Spring is great also because you can play with the "I love Paris in the Springtime" theme. A garden theme would be great for this season and the weather is usually perfect.
Summer you can use lots of bright colors and pull off more daring color combinations, I think. However, if you're more south, it can get really hot, so you'd want to think about having the celebrations indoors where there's air conditioning. Nothing worse than a sweaty bride!
Fall, I think, is my personal favorite. I really like warm tones - olives, plums, browns, etc. - so I'd like to play with those colors. Plus, the weather is perfect in September/early October and you could really do anything as far as decor.

Autumn is good. Lovely colours on the trees. Weather generally good. Summer too hot, Winter can be too cold. Spring time it is normally raining. so if you are thinking about it good luck for the future. The seasons may be different in other countries as far as the weather is concerned though.

Each has its ups and downs, it's your job to pick what suits you best. Spring means that it can be very pleasant, colorful and romantic. But it can rain, and be muddy and cool, maybe even late snow. Summer is warm and lots of people can take vacation time then. Again, it can be very hot and people may already have summer plans. Fall is good for the darker foliage, but yet again you can have cold and rain and snow. Winter, you can easily work with unless a snowstorm hits and people can't make it. Good luck!!

Any season is great! Love is in the air anytime you plan your wedding! Winter you don't get hot in your dress or tux.....but you have to wear coats! It really doesn't matter....it all depends on when you would prefer it! Whatever is "your" favorite season and when all your family can come down for your wedding! Some people only get vacation at a certain time of the year from their jobs! Good Luck!

The best: Autumn. The colors are so rich, the weather in most places pleasant, honeymoon locales are no longer packed with families on vacation, versatile use of colors, abundance of flower choices
The worse: Summer. Too hot! Honeymoon locales packed with families and kids. While outdoor weddings might be nice, the sun/heat wilts not only the flowers, but your cake and your guests as well.

For me, I live in the desert so the Summer is too hot, the Winter is too cold. Spring and Fall are perfect. I was married in May, it was a beautiful outdoor ceremony, great weather!

For us its the summer. We're part time students and we take summer off. its also our favorite season, and we were thrilled when we saw june 21 was a weekend this year! Winter is the worst time. I have fall finals, a December birthday, and I work for the Salvation Army and its our busiest time of year.

spring or summer are the best obviously because of the weather but if you want a white wedding go for winter but i would say winter is the worse, its too cold and everyone will be preoccupied with christmas or ill with the flu!
