If its the 4th -5th fingers you think of ulnar neuritis..or draftsmans elbow..have you been resting or leaning your forearm on edge of desk?

I had this in my right hand - last 2 fingers. It was related to my neck. Used an air neck traction device and it helped. After using it for 2 weeks it went away. I use it once a week now and am fine - no more headaches either. If you also get headaches or neck pain, it might be a pinched nerve in your neck.

My left hand went numb twice in my life...once when I had carpal tunnel which was corrected by surgery and once when I had pinched nerves in my neck. Maybe something you can look into ... good luck!

Or could be something involving your neck or back, pinching a nerve? I have this VERY frequently. I try to do lots of back and neck exercises, which helps. When things get really bad, I see a chiropractor. Could be several different things tho, honestly. How long have you had this?

well it could be anything really, lack of circulation can cause numbness, or it's possible that you may have suffered a mild TIA...if this doesn't go away in the next few hours go to your emergency department.
