Different people have different body chemistries.
There are a lot of things that prevent different people from losing weight. Some people have low metabolisms, some people have too little exercise, some people eat too much, some people eat the wrong things.... each of those factors will change what the "best diet" is for any given person.
That's why the most effective ways to lose weight are to talk to a nutritionist or dietitian. That's also why programs like Weight Watchers or Jenny Craig are so popular and effective... they have dietitians and they offer a lot of support when members are struggling.
There is no "best answer" as far as a diet that works for every person. Diets need to be fine tuned to each person on it to effectively lose the most weight and be most effective.

Your diet sounds healthy enough. But will you be able to lose the weight? I don't know. The human body is a strange machine and while on paper a 3500 calorie deficit should equal 1 pound of weightloss, in real life it doesn't always work out that way and I don't know why. I have been dieting and working out all of my life and I am still fat. I am of the opinion that diets don't really work and there is a huge genetic component to weight. If all it took were a doable amount of exercise and eating sensibly, then everyone would be fashion model slim because in this thin-worshipping culture, almost everyone who doesn't fit this standard has dieted at one time or another. I am still searching for an answer myself. I wish you luck with your goals but every time I hear someone talk about going on a diet, I cringe because they don't work 90% of the time.

There are lots of answers because there are a lot of questions. Many people in rich countries are overweight. But that does not account for all the questions. Just as centuries ago it was fashionable to be overweight because it showed that you could afford to eat well, it is now fashionable to be thin, as it shows you can afford the gym membership/equipment, personal trainer, diet meals etc.
Also, different systems work for different people, but there's always a basic plan behind each that is the same. In addition to that, weight loss plans etc make a lot of money, people want to make money through it and so come up with the different plans.
The people with the best answers are the asker's doctor - they know their medical history (and whether or not this would affect their weight loss) and also have 5 / 6 years of training each, and so are obviously the best people to ask.

Different strokes for different folks.
I lose weight better by eating less and eating less fatty foods. Despite this i hardly excercise and I eat a lot of McDonalds and Burger King but the doctor says im underweight,,, but i have a high blood pressure ?
I know a guy who loses weight from jogging running excercising and anything else. He eats a lot but if he were to stop the excercises he would blow all out of proportion hehhe.
Some people lose weight just by going to the sauna and playing tennis. While others eat all the food they can constantly and never gain weight,,,,,,.

Loosing weight is straight forward. Eat less calories each day than you burn with exercise and your BMI.

Just like every person has thier own personality...your body has its own chemical "personality"...therefore, what works for you may not work for another but eventually, it boils down to the math and science of weight loss which works for everyone...

People usually post what has worked for them, and the problem with that is every body is different, and what works for one person, won't work for another.
For example: My friend is a dietician, and she put me on a diet of 6 small meals a day, with low carbs and no processed sugar...I ended up gaining 8 pounds. I then tried my own diet of one meal a day (around a 1000 calories) and then snackng on lean chicken or turkey throughout the day to keep my metabolism rolling. On my diet I eat carbs, drink 1 soda per day, and enjoy an occasional donut with my morning coffee. My dietician friend is always horrified when i tell her my diet, but guess what? I lost 15 pounds in one month (I do work out about 2 hours a day)
The key of course, is to find out what works for you, and often this is simply a trial and error process. It can be frustrating at first, but once you figure out what works for you, it's awsome!

most of the information that is given is based on peoples opinions and not on scientific facts and proven fat loss methods.
and you know what they say about opinions, they are like a s s holes, everybody has one.
