But why not? They regulate tabacco and alchohal. They have a war on drugs. All of this just to protect our bodies. Isn't our soul more important than our bodies? Let me know why the government should not be regulating what we have to believe to be saved?

No, I don't Joseph86. That is why us old men ask you youngsters to correct and help us? Why don't you explain how to get saved, since that is the important part of my question?

Well, Wizard, I don't see you answering any questions about how things are made of value. I admit I have no answers, only questions. But if you think that questions do not reveal anything to those who seek, you must be pretty snug in your value world. You don't question it? You don't grow in it? Have you actually arrived at perfection, sir?

Your question doesn't bother me as much as those "Additional details"... You are really making me think that if enough people demand this, the term "Freedom of Religion" could be a thing of the past.
As an Atheist I can only say I would surely loose all hope and perish if I was forced to watch my children stifle in religion. That would be the one thing that would make me listen to book of Revelation and "Flee to the Mountains".
On that same note I wouldn't want to force anyone to abandon their own beliefs for mine. I just want them to keep an open mind for their own sake. Which as I understand it is what they want of me.
History has tried to enforce mass religion. Groups were formed and it was fought with passion. There would surely be yet another war if such a law was made...probably before it even gets off the ground. I would be in the front line with bells on....and the best most easily re-loadable gun I could get my hands on.

Health & Safety is about keeping people safe - how can a sane person be against that? Likewise feminism is about equality for women - how can a sane person be against that? Politicial correctness is about not offending people - how can a sane person be against that? Of course the reality is that feminism has never given a damn about men, so naturally don't give a damn that rough & tumble play is exactly what boys need, and scraping your knee just gives you a healthy sense of what the limitations are. And naturally there are massive industries - incredibly bureaucratic - that bolster Health & Safety, feminism, and political correctness. All three have an insidiously negative impact on society, and one day the long-term impact will become apparent e.g. too little scientific research being done due to risk averse regulations.

Well, of course not.
But I can see why this would be a serious issue to some churches. In fact, there is a real effort going on right now(as always has been) to get people into office that share their beliefs.
If they were able to accomplish their goal, one day this might become reality.
Obviously it would be against the constitution, but we're on our way to making that piece of paper void anyway, what with the Patriot Act and other such nonsense.

If you want answers this is the wrong approach. The need to destroy religion by asking unanswerable question of its proponents reveals an intellect that has no genuine answers itself. The answers you seek lie inside yourself but only the right questions will reveal what is true. The art is in formulating relevant questions.

That's what Adolf Hitler thought. That's why Hitler promoted Nazi Catholicism.

That's why the USA formed an alliance with Great Britain and others, to defeat Hitler and his religious ideas.

Well, no, because that violates a little, old document called the CONSTITUTION.
