Hair is over-rated. I'll bet you're adorable with or without. I think if I were having chemo right now, I would go ahead and do away with the hair. Kind of like owning your own power. Beat the inevitable to the punch! Bald is sweet, I personally love it (mostly on men :)
Be sure to keep your head warm when you go outside. Best wishes and stay warm.

Well
There are many factors that can attribute to hair recession or massive hair fall and you need to find out which one exactly is responsible for the problem you are having now. Of course male pattern baldness is still the most common cause, but, for instance, if you are a woman things are deinitely different! This is the reason why you will need to really dig down and see the source of your problem.

Other causes of hair loss may include (both in men and women): severe mental or emotional stress, excessive use of coloring or bleaching agents, traction alopecia or excessive strain on the scalp due to braiding or corn rowing, hormonal changes, alopecia areata or hair loss due to autoimmune diseases, and many more. Each of these conditions will require a different approach in order to achieve success regardless of whether you're going to be using conventional or natural methods.

In my opinion it's much better to use natural methods as opposed to conventional ones, they're cheaper, have less to no side effects, and often more effective.

A good way of regaining your full head of healthy natural hair is well described on this guide: http://hairagain.toptips.org

If he (you?) is sure that the chemo regime is going to cause hair loss (some don't), I'd say shave it all off in preparation.

I'm a woman and I had quite long hair; I had it cut quite short when chemo started and even so when I began to lose hair it got everywhere - it gets in your food, on your clothes and furniture, in your mouth; you never realise how much hair you have till it starts falling out. So I shaved my head - so much better than having straggly hair and bald patches.

Also, when your hair is preparing to fall out, your scalp becomes tender and rather sore; shaving your head will help avoid this.

Altogether shaving your head is more comfortable and more dignified, as well as less messy, than letting your hair fall out. And on a man it will just look as if you prefer a shaved head - nice.

Just go bald, a lot of men are sexy with bald heads. I guess I have just been around military men my whole life, now I'm engaged to one, so i am just used to not a lot of hair on men, but it is sexy! But good luck with chemo, you can do it, my mom did!

Go bald. I have seen many bald men, most not getting chemo and they look great.

Bald it'd better than having any hair at all. If you have hair it'll all fall off and it's gets annoying. Bald really is cool!!

you can always shave your head, but if you still want some hair then I would suggest something like a military style haircut or a flattop or something like that.

Even Brittany Spears shaved her head, I suddenly thought she might be cool.
