sorry, but unless you can bench press 250+ you're a little over weight.
Try doing some cardio a few days a week for starters, I'm glad you want some help. Here are some of my past diet and fitness answers on diets and workouts, hope they help!
:
obviously what you are doning isn't working, you know that so stop fasting and definately stop throwing up.
Please do tell a counselor! I know you said not to do this but no one here can give you advice or help you 1/100 as much as they can.
If you insist on doing is on your own then heres some tips:
You know what you have to do, you know whats good to eat and whats bad and you know if you eat it and don't burn it it turns into fat (although weightloss isn't a simple calories in = calories out equation like people think)
you need at least 1500 calories per day to keep your body out of hybernation and lose weight. I would shoot for 2000 and if it's all good stuff that should be plenty of food.
No pain no gain, losing weight is about burning calories, not controlling the amount that goes in ... to some extent. you know about running and cardio, you know what you have to do so go do it!
seriously, get some help, trainer, nutritionist... something! this will be an uphill battle you will more than likely lose on your own. I'm not trying to be mean please trust me.
:
don't be so hard on yourself, you'll get past this in fact I weighed around 220 when I was your age and I was barely 5'5 (I'm 20 now and weigh 175 most of which is muscle).
I'll give you some tips and you'll be able to take it from there:
Go talk to your gym / weights coach, I know they're probably not your best friends as this point, but they will be happy to help you and can give you much more personalized and effective help than anyone here can. They won't be mean.
Bring a bag of baby carrots / celery / brocli...etc. with you every day, whenever you are hungry sang a few of these, and munch away they all take just as many calories to digest as they have in them.
NEVER EAT AT THE CAFFETERIA AGAIN! This food it absloutely terrible for you, you need to pack a lunch every day, you know whats good and whats bad, and if you don't this is a good place to ask that stuff. No pb&j no lunchables and please god no left over McDonalds/pizza. Sandwitches (watch these) fruit and jello or something is the way to go.
You need at least 1500 calories a day and you should shoot for 2000. Going under this will send your metabolism into hybernation and make it almost impossible to lose weight. It's a lot of food if it's good food and done right.
Finally, no pain no gain. You know what you have to do, you probably hate running, but your gonna learn to love it. You probably hate the weight room but you'll learn to love that too. One day this week I want you to go work out and you need to work so hard so long that you throw up or at least feel like you really have to. The more pain the more gain! This is your limit and you should almost reach it every time you workout. You need to work out at least 3x per week, the more you do the faster it will go. I know it sounds like I'm an a-ss but I told you I've been there and I know what it takes.
Finally you're in hs, join a sport! Mine was swimming I stuck with it for four years and ended up gettin two top 16 finishes at the state swim meet and I was the captain of the team senior year! Sports can really get you going and I'm sure there's one out there that you like. You probably won't be a starter or even on varsity, but work hard and you will b.
Don't jog in the morning, it's bad for you and who the **** wants to get up earlier to run?
you know what it's gonna take, go get the help you need and get going!
If you really want me to write out your workout/diet I will but I don't have enough information to do it right, your weights coach is your best bet.
again sorry to sound like an ***, I'm trying to get you started and keep you going. If you need anything else I'd be happy to try and help you out.
GOOD LUCK!
: this one shoud be espically helpful
first of all congradulations on the anexoria thing, it's much easier and better to do it the old fashioned way, which I'm sure you know.
The only thing I eat that you don't is hummis and boiled eggs (not togeather)
Your weight loss depends on a few things you didn't tell me, your height, if your 6'0 and trying to get to 120 it's not going to happen, and it will be scary if it does. The natural rate of your metabolism (I know you can't tell me that), and most importantly how much you eat and the intensity of your workouts, if you are eating 4000 calories worth of chicken a day and walking on the treadmill at 2mph. then no it's not going to work.
Since I don't have that information I'll assume an average of 6mph. on the treadmill and a medium-fast weights pace, and a 2000 calorie/day diet. In which case I think you gave yourself a good amount of time and a very acheiveable goal!
I do have some additional tips for you:
Push the cardio really hard, no pain no gain!
I'm sure that you know you need to eat at least 1500 calories/day to keep your metabolism out of hybernation, if your eating right this is a lot of food! make sure you are eating enough (shoot for 2000) and getting everything you need.
When you lift weights go with a lower weight with a higher rep (20-25) to build deffinition instead of bulk.
It's not recommended you run every day, even on a treadmill. Try other cardio workouts: Elliptical, Bike, or best Swim, just make sure you keep the intensity the same as your treadmill time.
I would prefer that you go to the gym maybe m-t-w take thurs. off then go fri. sat. and take sunday off. A break in the week would be much better than two back to back on the weekends.
Protein you can certainly benefit from, girls think that if they drink it they will end up looking like the body builders in the magazines, which is not true, it takes tons of work to get there. You need a lean protein you should try and get 1g of protein for every 2-3lbs. of fat per day total (including diet). I use this stuff called pro complex made by ON. it tastes really good and has almost no fat (lean protein). The protein will shape your muscles faster by making them heal better and faster (protein is consumed by muscles like... medicine... kinda). You can get enough protein out of your diet, but it's really hard, I would try this.
Try lengthing your weights to a full hour and you should do them before your run, use them as a warm up (don't lift legs then run).
You should do some really intense ab workouts to get a defined core (most attractive part of a woman if you ask me)
seriously consider swimming, you can tone your body and do cardio at the same time.
hope I helped, if you need anything else well... just ask it, or you know where to find me.

You are not fat, but could probably lose about 25 pounds. I am like you, the same height and weight. However, i don't know if you are "big boned". I am not, therefore, look overweight.
Eat lowfat and get some exercise. :) I am!
