3/4 cup if it is liquid measure. If you are talking weight for dry measure, then you are better off to weigh it, as 3/4 cup flour may not weigh 6 oz. Hope that helps. Also if you are talking about volume, like 6 oz butter or margerine then it would be 1 and a half sticks.

4 oz is a half cup & 8 is a full cup so 6 is half way between. If you have a liquiod measureing cup it's printed right on it.

cups are supposedly 8 ozs
which is half a pint (16 ozs)
and a quart is (32) ozs

tea cup in the old recipes!!! 8 oz is a cup!! so 6 oz is 3/4 cup.
