Fear causes unnecessary actions. There are a lot more stories behide before she was pressured to do such thing. Like the suicide case in Langham Place, Mongkok last week. A man jumped from the higher floor of the mall. I saw his foot with sneakers and blood all over the floor. Among all the places to suicide, he had to choose the mall where I work.

Tragic indeed!

Despair can lead to abominable things...Sadly, HK doesn't not have the monopoly on these kinds of awful things...

According to statistics, one infant is killed everyday in the USA. Estimates double this number. The vast majority of these deaths are not of natural causes but are due to infanticide, neglect and abuse. In 2001, Andra Yates drowned her 5 children in her Houston, Texas home. In 2003, a tenured professor from Philadelphia killed her 6-month old daughter. Hundreds of cases, and it does not make for a very appealing research.

My suggestion to the person who opened up this debate: try to do something at home, in your own community, in your own city, to change the situation and improve things in your own backyard, instead of regurgitating stupidities and pointing an accusatory finger.

That's too bad, but why is it that people like bbk say it's those rotten Chinese? Is that why you posted it here? Kids in the US, poor things, put their babies in dumpsters, after all. It's about being young and being bullied by culture. It's not about what country or culture you're from.
