They were popular until someone realized that most of the time, Jesus would do something the rest of us CAN'T do, like walk on water or multply loaves and fishes, or raise the dead... Things that aren't exactly easy to replicate.

answer: No Jew "believes in Jesus" - anyone that believes in Jesus as a divine savior is a Christian. Those that believe Jesus was a prophet are Muslims. Jesus is irrelevant in Judaism - he wasn't the Jewish Messiah and he wasn't a prophet in Judaism. Either your friend is being sarcastic, or he's being sarcastic and meaning "What would Jews Do?" Or he's an apostate Jew that is now a Christian and is outside of Judaism and not part of the religious community. Before anyone brings it up: there is NO such thing as "Messianic Jews" - they are Christians. They believe in a divine savior = Christian. ALL branches of Judaism, the US military, the State of Israel and the great Maimonides agree = "Messianic Jews" are actually Christians.

I have a bumper sticker that reads "WDJD"
i cant agree with the "what would Jesus do" idea, because I would quite my job and travel to preach and heal!
I like "What DID Jesus Do" it gives us more clarity as to how to handle situations, as He went through it all.

why ask? one of those bracelets probably wouldn't fit on your big strong wrist, you know the wrist that is attached to the body that you worship. Your body is your God, that is easy to see.

I loved those things... I wish I had one...
I didn't love them because i needed to see if to remember to do what Jesus would, but more so because... I loved to proudly show that I am a Christian and that I want to do as Jesus would!
