This is pretty normal for a child realizing cause and effect as it were. These behaviors you describe are healthy ones that (usually) get a good and/or rewarding reaction from you when he does them. All he wants is your praise (and maybe some candy) for 'being good'.
If he wants a door closed that you need open or wants to put something away that you need, patiently explain why he can not put them away/close them right now (IE: you are using it), and tell him you will let him close it/put it away when you are done with it. And then let him do so.
Don't you start to obsess about it.

well OCD isnt that bad he might turn out to be a perfectionist so he will get pissed if he gets a B+ on his report cards and the rest are all A's but if its severe OCD like everything bothers him unless he likes it that way then he could become friendless and weird to others. And yes its possible at 2 years cause if ur born with it ur born with it since day 1, Unless OCD is able to be spread like a virus then idk...but if u want to change his OCDness u have to do it early and get it into his head to not do that. Its not easy changing a kid and the habits it was born with but to be a good mother u have to discipline him i guess and teach him to stop doing his rituals before bed. And dont do sever physical punishments his whole Psychi in his head could get messed up and be all insecure and stuff bout parents. He could become a badass too lol. but dont listen to me this my 2 cents im only 14 i dont have kids lol

My 6 year old was always like this at that age too, and is still...we actually found out it wasn't as much as OCD but a mild case of Autism...you may want to talk to your childs dr. and they might want him to be evaluated by a child pschyiatrist.

I seriously doubt that a 2 year old has OCD. He just wants everything in its place. I would say that he believes in being organized. As far as washing hands be grateful he won't have as many colds or viruses. Your son probably sees you put things away in the kitchen and takes his cue from that. I wouldn't worry about it.

That's normal, he watches you and this is what he does, that's too early to tell if he has OCD, kids watch you what you do they do the same, and each kid is different, I have 3 boys, each one is different, and one likes to get dirty the other one hates it, one likes to swim in the cold pool, the other one hates it, we're humans we have our prefrences and own characters, but don't worry that is normal, and if you trully are worried about that never hurts to ask for professional help, right?

How is your child's language? OCD signs can be very similar to autism signs at this age. If his langage is delayed I would go and talk to your pediatrician about this and/or contact the local school district to see who provides early start services in your area.

sometimes kids can just become fascinated with new things that they have learnt to do, for example, using the toilet or washing hands so it's prob nothing to worry about.
