I always wonder this about the terrorists and their belief in Allah. I think what if after they've blwon themselves up, they get to...I dont know, somewhere in between and Allahs there with his arms crossed, shaking his head shouting 'YOU IDIOTS, I WAS TRYING TO TELL YOU THERE ARENT ANY VIRGINS UP HERE!!!!!!!'

AMEN to that! I am so with you on this. I do NOT believe in organized religion. Look at how many different variations of Christianity there are. Who is to say that my own version is not right? I don't think a person has to wear the hat of a certain denomonation to know God. Being a good person and opening your life to God are the basics, and after that, the rest is just details.

No! I don't allow people to tell me how to believe. I believe because I know he is real. I have a very close relationship with GOD he is my friend before any other. So as far as me dieing in finding out he is not real. SO NOT TRUE!!! I feel his presents he has blessed me and so many ways. My GOD is amazing and I will keep believing and worshiping and telling everyone about him until the day I die.
Merry Christmas
God Bless

You don't have to wait till you die to have your whole belief structure come crashing down about your ears! That happened to me nearly three decades ago when the religion I'd been brought up in was exposed as based on falsehoods. I wasn't wanting to find all that out. I had no doubts, but others pointed me to evidence that just had to be taken into consideration.
Strangely enough, during the 2 year struggle of finding out, God 'spoke' clearly to me through his word, the Bible, in a fresh and meaningful way, replacing the error with... well, I would say truth, but I've learned that we have to grow in truth. Neither do we need to know ALL the truth. Just enough of the truth that is to be found in the person of Jesus Christ, for to know Christ is to know God. If Christ tells you how to live and to trust in what he has done, you won't ever be afraid again.

I am a recent convert to Islam. I was raised a Christian, but as I got older, I discovered n learned Islam and I had to follow my heart; even though no one arounds me agrees or supports me. I am also going to raise my son to choose for himself. When he is old enough, and after he has learned about different religions, he will be expected to choose one and follow it to a T. If you think about it, we kind of are brainwashing our kids raising them to believe what we do, giving them no choice. All that matters is your faith and that you live your life according to what you believe God wants and expects from you, if you do, God cannot punish you because you were only trying to serve him and follow his teachings. Should you choose the wrong religion, I think when you die, God will know that at least you tried your hardest to discover the truth and you will be rewarded for that.

Great question, that's why you have to have an open mind and never shut the doors to the "others", always assume that you might be wrong until you find the truth, that's what i did and i came out with this : true religion is Islam, don't take my word for it, just ask the right questions and seek the right answers from the right people.

Nope, no-one can. If I turn out to be wrong about God not existing, I at least have the satisfaction of having acted on what I believed to be right, instead of pretending to be religious and making a mockery of the whole thing.
Alright, I tend to make a mockery of religion anyhow, but that's a conscious choice ;)

I find in interesting that you've narrowed God down to your God or conversely, I assume my God (assuming there is one). Since we all have a bit of God in us all...that collective consciousness which is part of our humanity, I submit you needn't worry. Despite our agreement on some points...hence religion...we all really take our own diverse paths Spiritually. It's better to have your own independent beliefs regardless of an overall affiliation/religion. You sound as though you may/might be interested in the Uncommon Denomination...check them out at WWW.UUA.ORG! Happy Holidays!

I don't listen to people unless they are quoting right from the Bible. The Bible is God's Holy, Living Word. It speaks to my heart. The Holy Spirit tells me what I need to know from the passages. The Bible is not wrong. I don't listen to a word that comes out of a humans mouth that is speaking badly about God or Jesus or the Bible. I pray for them. Which they hate hearing that. But Satan does blind and harden people from the truth. That is his goal.

Hey man, please don't make a sound
Take a look around, can't you see what's right in front of you
Have a little taste, no more time to waste
You don't wanna get left behind cause it's all coming down right now
How hard is it to see
Put your faith in me
I sure wouldn't want to be friends with the wrong piece of wood
You should get where you belong
Everything you know is wrong
Come on, sing along, everybody now
God given
And it gives us sight
And we see the light
And it burned so bright
Now we know we're right
And His Kingdom Come
And Thy will be done
We've just begun
We're the chosen ones
Wait, step into the light
How can this be right?
I'm afraid we're going to ask you to leave
This you cannot win
With the color of your skin
You won't be getting into the Promised Land
It's just another case
You people still don't know your place
Step aside, out the way, wipe that look of your face
'Cause we are the divine
Separated from the swine
Come on, sing along, everybody now
God given
And it gives us sight
And we see the light
And it burned so bright
Now we know we're right
And His Kingdom Come
And Thy will be done
We've just begun
We're the chosen ones

Im afraid of 6 billion different "truths" out there all telling me what they have decided in their hearts.
I have actually met Jesus, (you have to meet someone to have a relationship), and Im sure of what God said, because it has been written by the prophets.
To be a good leader, you must first be a good follower...
