You will probably think terrible things about me when you read this answer. I'm urinary incontinent for medical reasons and I have to wear diapers 24 / 7, so, because of that, they play a part in my relaxing.
When I have a particularly stressful time in my life I like to come home and change out of my clothes. I will change out of the disposable diaper that I ususally wear to work (I hate the things truthfully but I don't have enough cloth ones to go around), I then put on a very thick, soft and warm cloth diaper and a pair of plastic pants. I put on a nice t-shirt and nothing more.
I sit in the living room and I will either turn on some quiet music, a nice movie on the TV that I can get lost in, or just my laptop and browse the internet and/or Yahoo! Answers. ( I find the most intersting people that way.)
Since I have no control over my bladder to begin with, I just sit there with a cup of coffee or a glass of tea, and usually I wind up falling asleep because I am so relaxed because with the diaper and plastic pants I don't have to worry about anything. I don't need to get up to go to the bathroom, I wouldn't make it even if I wanted to. I guess that I sort of regress in my mind to a time where I didn't have a care in the world, where I didn't have any stress, any worries, any problems, any bills.
After an afternoon or evening of doing that, I will get up feeling very content and very rested and have the feeling that I can face almost anything that the good Lord wants to throw at me after that. It is amazing how good I feel after that.
If you haven't tried it, and you have tried other things and nothing has worked, maybe this is something to try and see how it works. It has gotten me through a lot of tough times in my life, when I knew I couldn't depend on anyone else but myself to help.
Good luck.

Get dressed comfortably. Grab a drink (I don't drink alcohol), maybe some "comfort food" and sit back in my plush recliner in front of the TV! It's the best recipe for relaxation I know. That or a massage at a spa.

I generally listen to some simple and sober music . But the best way for me is to play with my CUTE LITTLE COUSINS because when I play with them , I forget about all my problems and become a kid .
