So, I just need to know about some good reputable places to get a student loan. I don't want to get screwed by some online scam. I would also like to find a place that I don't have to pay payments to until after I graduate. Would a bank allow me to do that? Help! :)

Talk to someone at the school. They will get you the information that you need. I think it's called a FASFA, it's been a long time.

I am not sure if you would be able to get a loan through the Government, for cosmetology, but I might be wrong that would be the first place I would look, going through FAFSA. Secondly some states, like mine, have a student loan center where you get them directly from the state. I am not sure if every state has it. Third go through banks and just try to find which ever one is the most competitive, dont just settle for one. There are tons of options when it comes down to it. And you might be overwhelmed, but try places like Nelnet.com. That is where I had my loans from so maybe give that a try. Best of Luck to ya.

do not do it!!!!! you somewhat do not make sufficient to ever pay the money returned doing hair, until eventually you have your own keep. attempt finding at a Vo-tech college the place that's greater value-effective. Or look to work out in case you are able to apprentice on your state. Doing hair may well be relaxing, yet going to college gets you the super greenbacks,, Signed Ex hairdresseer, now working for 75K consistent with 12 months after going to college. Umm I had my loans paid off in 7 years. All 40 5,000

You'd have to talk to each individual company. Call around or look online. Don't worry so much about being scammed really the only thing you need to pay attention to is what interest rate they are going to charge you. If it's too high, don't sign.

Here is a blog that might be able to help,

Didn't they ask you to fill out a FAFSA form to get a student loan? If they didn't they aren't a really credible school. Credible schools are approved by the Federal government and they provide loans to students who go to these schools.
Otherwise, you can try a bank.

I live in Daytona Beach Fl and we have International Academy! They're a great school. They help all students get funding. ITs an amazing program. You should check it out. They offer sooooo much for the students.

Ask the school. I'm sure they have info for you.

Beware if they try to sell you some loan through THEM. I'm not sure if the FASFA website could help you or not. (Free application for student financial aid.)
