I'm not sure what I believe in so I don't know if it's fair for me to answer this. But one thing is for certain, I don't picture a tangible, physical being. I think of God as the essence of good. More like a collection of positive will and energy (sort of derived from karma), that exists within people. Not a guy staring at you from space. If God were a tangible being, that would throw all sorts of problems in place. For instance, a tangible being that exists, exists in some sense of time. Even if that being could move freely through time (as others perceive it), the being would still have to adhere to time as they perceive it. Thereby making time of the highest order. To avoid that, God must be an intangible being and more of an essence of good. Since we are born of good fortune (came into existence through evolution by way of luck and need), it makes us all the children of God. But, this is all highly speculative. Like I said in the beginning, I don't know what I believe so it may not be fair for me to answer this question.

I believe in God but I don't think of God as having an appearance, it just some energy that you can feel but not see.

You really can't assign human physical attributes or traits to Goddess and God, because they're not human. I would guess maybe a mass of energy in many shifting colors, but honestly, I'm not a goddess or a god, so I have no idea what they look like.

White Robe, bronze skin, white hair, mouth as a sword, eyes as flames of fire, vesture dipped in blood, His name is called the Word of God and on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. God is Spirit and Consuming Fire. Bible explains Him in many different ways because God cannot be limited.

That's like asking what Gravity or an electromagnetic field looks like.

For the last 2000 years, God has 'looked' like Jesus.

I don't know what an infinite being who is Spiritual in nature could possibly look like. What does "glory" look like? What does the infinite look like? It's beyond the grasp of our puny finite minds to grasp the infinite.
