I am just wondering how many people would openly admit to following a pagan based religion (or at least a religion based upon more then one god/goddess.)

I myself, am a Teutonic Majician (I know that is not the spelling of Magician, but I use that spelling to distinguish between the stage craft and the true majic that I practice.)

Both my parents are Teutonic Majicians, and I was initiated when I was very young. I wont discuss any more about my beliefs and practices other then that, but I was just wondering how many people would openly admit if they were asked that they were of a pagan, or (multiple God/Goddess) based religion.

The reason I ask this is because it seems to me that even today, in this enlightened word, people are afraid to admit who they really are and hide behind the curtain of falsehood.

I would openly admit to any stranger off the street. But my family is a whole other story. Traditional, Spanish, christian. Some day I will find the best way to tell them.

"Do you admit that notion in faith is geographic?" no "Do you additionally admit that for those who had been born into a further sect of notion or a further faith, you might receive that faith because the complete fact?" no "You might additionally use the distinct equal arguments that you simply use as Christian apologists as you might for those who had been a Judaist apologist or for those who had been a Muslim apologist." no i would not "If you admit that, might it now not be rational to infer that your notion is not anything however superstitious culture?" sure, that would be a rational end if all of the above had been precise. nonetheless for the reason that it's not... EDIT: if the situation you reside and your devout upbringing had as a lot weight for your devout ideals as atheists appear to consider then there might be no atheists and there would not be humans dieing in materials of India and the core east for changing to Christianity.

I'm not a Pagan, but if I was one I'd give it a shout out - you bet. From what I've seen and read, you people have so much to boast about. Noone ever killed in the name of Pagan beliefs and you have my great respect.

Most of American society see such practices as evil.

Some of us see it as silly (you spell magic differently because you practice "true majic".)

The Bible says God does not approve of what you do.

Everything we have done in life will be brought to light. They can hide from their neighbors and co-workers, but they cannot hide from God.

I would. I've been "out" ever since I started practicing Wicca, about fourteen years ago. I don't bring the subject up in general conversation, but if asked, I will respond honestly.

I openly admit that I'm Pagan to anyone who asks. I don't apologize for it, nor do I "preach" it. If I'm asked, I answer honestly.

Majicians are people who think there is no God, WHICH there IS.

You sound scary as crap. I'll bet you ARE.
Creepy. Do you kill things for your magic?

God hates that.
