Well, the weight loss would be checked by standing on the scale, if you have one accurate to ounces. More likely, the tummy was a little bloated from gas or the stomach contents that made you use it pad. Weight loss by heating (sauna, etc.) normally is mostly water loss and a little bit by increased metabolism. On the other hand, you might want to buy up a supply of heating pads, take a stock option on a heating pad company and write a book - can't be worse than most of the other stuff out there. You will have to get people to test sitting on a heating pad in the office for that strategic area.

I have never heard of this, maybe your food just digested or something, I do not think that heating pads will cause you to lose weight when placed on the skin, this would be cool though, I would walk around with heating pads on all the time! lol But it is just a coincidence I think... Hope you feel better.

concience! A heating pad isn't going to make you looks weight where you place it. You should never keep a heating pad on you for more than 20 min. at a time, it is very bad circulatory wise.

Coincidence. If losing weight was a matter of just heating up the fat with a heat pad...there would be no fat people and heating pads would cost thousands

Gravity. No, I'm serious. If you slept on your back all night, then your stomach was flattened by gravity. I've noticed that every time I sleep on my back the entire night, my chunky stomach is no longer chunky, it becomes concave and I can even feel my ribs and iliac crests. It's an illusion though. The weight isn't really gone. Would be nice if it did! :)

Probably just your perception...it's unlikely the heating pad or anything else reduced your stomach significantly overnight unless you were bloated for some reason.

pick up a 5 or 10 pound weight at the gym and visualize that weight coming off holding the weight in your hands helps bring home just how heavy even 5 pounds of extra fat can be

Did you know that sleeping with a heating pad all night long can cause burns and possibly cause a house fire? Unwise.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
