You don't, its called angel worship and an angel could be satan and then they make it hard to hear from God, so you don't talk to angel's who are demons in disquize:
colossians 2:18

Talk to him as a stranger whose intentions you don't know. Talk in your language, with carefully chosen words.
Keep it at bay.
An angel is not necessarily well intentioned. It just is from another matter different than yours.
Remember that probably it will have powers you don't imagine. Don't accept any order from it.

your heart decides who's an angel or not. talk to someone who comfarts you, talk to someone who guides you. you have your very own angel and only you know who it is. someone who reads you with a single stare, someone who knows what your gonna say, someone who sees right through you some that makes you speak out the truth.

As you would talk to a mortal. If they seek to offer guidance, offer them your hand. If they shake it and you feel them, they are angels, if they do not move and simply deliver the message, they are just men made perfect by God and you will see their glory.
If they shake your hand and you do not feel them; they are not from a good place.

I have to agree with man_aip: "someone who comfarts you". The way to talk to an alleged angel is, first, get yourself yourself a harp. Then you softly pluck the sucker (my tongue is twisted) until he/she looks over at you. Finally, smile sweetly and smooth out the bedclothes.

I would rather talk to my God thru my Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ in prayer. not some angel they won't do what God can do for me or you.
