You do not want to remove pups from their littermates or mother before 8 weeks. 6-8 weeks is a crucial time for pups to learn about dog socialization and bite inhibition. Pups removed too early have more issues with dog aggression or fear and have a tendency to nip and bite more/harder.
Keeping pups until they are 8-10 weeks of age gives them a better foundation which will help them have less chance of needing rehoming as adults.
Responsible breeders often interview potential buyers, accept deposits on pups and review contracts a few weeks prior to selling the pup.

Yep 8 weeks the minimum to start selling of course my dog clube people figure on 6 months to find homes if you are unlucky enough to have more pups than reserves...

Good breeders of small dogs generally keep them for 10-12 weeks before allowing them to go to new homes.
8 weeks would be the absolute minimum..

Legally you can sell them when they are 8 weeks old in most states. It is usually better however for them to stay with their Mom for a few more weeks. They are usually better socialized as their Mom continues to teach them how to act even after they are weaned. Good luck with your litter.

Listen to that, that is what my breeder did, and she does Lhasa's, her best friend does Shih tzu's and does the same.
Please please please, find a good home. Instead of just doing it for money. Not everyone who spends upwards of 250 on a dog, will give it a good home. And give love, and attention, vet care, grooming etc.
