If you try to argue into the existence in God by reliance on scientific data then a single scientific discovery can throw you off. For example, what if science discovers an eternal dimension of matter where things do not age and that is inaccessible by any sensory means and that the matter that exists in time, on our plane of existence, corossed over - so that "something" really did come from nothing and that nothing is eternal but physical. See the problem here? That happens - and strager things have - and your argument for the existence of God now becomes an argument against the existence of God.
God is not a scientific hypothesis. God is a spiritual reality that can't be logically proven or even rationally asserted with any certainty at all. I think we do best to admit that we access God through our irrational side - intuition and inner exploration - and let science and religion remain in their separate realms of naturala nd super-natural, physical and meta-physical. In this way, we always remember and make sure others realize that no scientific advancement will ever have anything whatever to say about God.

Good day to you random zealot. We are pleased to see that you have become more coherent, although we note that you have already asked this question.
to point 2: You have made certain assumptions about the nature of the universe, in particular that it at some point began and that the properties of energy only extend that far. If you can provide reasonable support for this claim, we will gladly look into your issues. We caution patience, as our response may be long in coming.
Point 3 is merely a preface to point 4, and verges on invalidating it.
Point 4 also makes assumptions. Again, we will need to see some justification of these assumptions before we can give a proper reply. We would, however, as a courtesy, like to point out that the definition of Universe is "Everything that exists anywhere" and that by stating your god is outside the universe, you have yourself implied that he does not exist.
At the basest level, we can say that we exist because we think we exist (as we discussed before, self is the only thing we can be assured of). We concede that this could be construed to imply a creator, but only in as much as we are our own god.

I can't explain my existence or the existence of the universe as a whole. However, that's no reason why anyone should jump to the conclusion that the stories of ANY religion are true.
If you lost your car keys and couldn't come up with any explanation for how you lost them or where they might be, would you think, "Well, it must have been a mouse with eagle wings that came down from the clouds at light speed and snatched up my keys to bring them to the giant dragon that rules the cloud city. The dragon sent the mouse to take my keys as punishment because I used a green toothbrush on Wednesday, which is forbidden by the giant dragon's code. Now I have to make amends to the giant dragon by burning my shoes as an offering. If I don't, I won't get into the cloud city when I die."?????
Just because no one knows how or why the universe exists, that doesn't mean that the stories of any of the religions of the world have any connection to the truth. You don't believe in whatever the Mohawk Tribe of Native Americans claims to be the origin of the universe. Why would you believe in the Christian story? Both stories are equally full of magic and unbelievable things. The Christian version only seems more believable to you because you were raised in a Christian culture. If you were born and raised in India as a Hindu, you'd believe all the Hindu stories.

This is another argument from incredulty. Before we understood weather patterns, storms were God's wrath. Before we understood disease, illnesses were called curses. Currently, scientists can only speculate about activities before 1 Plank time after the Big Bang. There is nothing in current science that excludes existence before the Big Bang, and makes "something from nothing" the only conclusion of atheistic naturalism.
I should also point out that common sense arguments shouldn't be applied in these extreme situations. Sure, something coming from nothing doesn't sound plausible to us, but in actuality, we've never seen anything created, except in quantum fluctuations which seem to be without cause.
Also I don't think the phrase "something came from nothing" makes sense if we do consider time to have begun at the Big Bang because "came from" presupposes the existence of time. As the oft quoted Stephen Hawking wrote, "So long as the universe had a beginning, we could suppose it had a creator. But if the universe is really completely self-contained, having no boundary or edge, it would have neither beginning nor end; it would simply be. What place then, for a creator?" Asking for a cause for existence would be like asking what happens at the edge of the earth.
The "miracle" that you refer to is also answered in Hawking's A Brief History of Time. "That just raises the question of where the energy came from. The answer is that the total energy of the universe is exactly zero. Now twice zero is also zero. Thus the universe can double the amount of positive matter energy and also double the negative gravitational energy without violation of the conservation of energy."

1. There is no reason to assume that the start state was nothing or that there ever was just "nothing".
2. Thermodynamics does not address the singularity, and given the current cosmological theories there is no reason that energy would have come into being at the big bang.
3. Not sure why this would be an argument one way or another.
4. There is no evidence that God has ever interacted with this world. Creation, the Flood, Exodus, etc.. all have no evidence to support that they ever happened.

got some info :-The Global Islamic population is approximately 1,200,000,000; that is ONE BILLION TWO HUNDRED MILLION or 20% of the world's population. They have received the following Nobel Prizes: TOTAL: 7 SEVEN The Global Jewish population is approximately 14,000,000; that is FOURTEEN MILLION or about 0.02% of the world's population. They have received the following Nobel Prizes: Literature: TOTAL: 129! The Jews are NOT promoting brain washing children in military training camps, teaching them how to blow themselves up and cause maximum deaths of Jews and other non Muslims. The Jews don't hijack planes, nor kill athletes at the Olympics, or blow themselves up in German restaurants. There is NOT one single Jew who has destroyed a church. There is NOT a single Jew who protests by killing people. The Jews don't traffic slaves, nor have leaders calling for Jihad and death to all the Infidels. Perhaps the world's Muslims should consider investing more in standard education and less in blaming the Jews for all their problems. Muslims must ask 'what can they do for humankind' before they demand that humankind respects them. Regardless of your feelings about the crisis between Israel and the Palestinians and Arab neighbour's, even if you believe there is more culpability on Israel 's part, the following two sentences really say it all: 'If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence. If the Jews put down their weapons today, there would be no more Israel .." Benjamin Netanyahu General Eisenhower Warned Us It is a matter of history that when the Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces, General Dwight Eisenhower, found the victims of the death camps he ordered all possible photographs to be taken, and for the German people from surrounding villages to be ushered through the camps and even made to bury the dead. He did this because he said in words to this effect: 'Get it all on record now - get the films - get the witnesses - because somewhere down the road of history some bastard will get up and say that this never happened' Recently, the UK debated whether to remove The Holocaust from its school curriculum because it 'offends' the Muslim population which claims it never occurred. It is not removed as yet. However, this is a frightening portent of the fear that is gripping the world and how easily each country is giving into it. It is now more than 60 years after the Second World War in Europe ended. This e-mail is being sent as a memorial chain, in memory of the, 6 million Jews, 20 million Russians, 10 million Christians, and 1,900 Catholic priests who were 'murdered, raped, burned, starved, beaten, experimented on and humiliated' while the German people looked the other way. Now, more than ever, with Iran , among others, claiming the Holocaust to be 'a myth,' it is imperative to make sure the world never forgets. This e-mail is intended to reach 400 million people. Be a link in the memorial chain and help distribute this around the world. How many years will it be before the attack on the World Trade Center 'NEVER HAPPENED' because it offends some Muslim in the United States ? so christian or muslim who cares because if God existed would he allow extremists of ANY FAITHS ?& I don't believe in God & I wasn't allowed to list all the Jews :(

"God" is infinite. Energy is not unique to our universe. That spark which set everything into motion was a really BIG energy force, one which you call God. Energy is my "God". Who created it is your question. It is it's own entity, and it is in and on everything and everyone. Everything is made from cosmic dust and propelled by energy. Simple. If any ONE had the answer, then we wouldn't be arguing over who's right. The energy has always existed since the beginning of time by our account, and it will for a long time constantly changing forms.

just like how you exist. your belief in god doesnt make him real.
"3. Infinite values do not exist in this reality, only in mathematics are they apparant, not in matter."
did you just say "god doesnt exist" or something to that effect?
"God is not of this or created in this universe therefore the laws that it abides by dont apply since God is both within and without the bounds of space and time."
how do you know that? ah.. it figures... you created god.

You have no evidence of God. You don't understand something and so you made up a being. I personally don't know how we were created but I'm not going to turn to a theory some people made up thousands of years ago says.

Assuming facts not in evidence.
1. I did not come from nothing. My existence is the mating of sperm and ova.
2. Elementary matter has always existed.
3. What does that mean?
4. You insist that something cannot come from nothing but make an exception for god.
