If you shot a 16in (in diameter), 2240lb projectile at a 45 degree angle, Using larger PBXN-5 powder pags to push the projectile,

How far would it go?

and just disregarding barrel life sense they are 66ft long and have a life span that is very long.

and yes this is a standard projectile. Because a ramjet projectile only needs to achieve mach 7 and just firing from the guns does that already so yes it is a standard projectile.

SFAIK the longest range achieved today with a standard naval cannon is 120 kilometres.

Probably impossible with a Iowa class cannon though- that was pre-WW2 technology as regards gun barrel strength
