Did you tell him you loved him back? Maybe he's just shy that he's actually shown his true feelings. Reassure him and things should be fine.

Sometimes we need our space w/the other person jut to see if we still want the realationship. I think he sd he love you only to make you feel better about the realationship. But while he is getting some me time you should concentarte on something other than him and when he calls try not to act nonchantly and she if that changes anything

Leave him alone!
I experienced the same thing with a guy from my church.
I was lead to believe he was interested in me.
A few weeks into the relationship, he changed and not necessarily for the better.
Now....I don't have anything to do with him.
The funny part is now that I have moved on, he's trying his best to creep-creep-creep back into my life.
At any rate, it's going to be a no-go...because...I don't believe in taking a $hit and then stepping back in it!

My advice to you is to move on with your life.

You deserve someone who is consistently good to you and consistently good for you; no questions, no wondering, no drama, and no hassles!

I think that his feelings mite be strong for u but that hes afraid of commitment. U should just give him some time to get used to the idea.
