Is Neutrogena face wash just as effective as Proactiv??

Or any other expensive brands of face wash???
My physician told me that when he prescribed my prescription...
What do you think??

Yes it is. You're physician was right. Most brands are fine, even generics, as long as it's formulated for your skin type and skin issues you have. 2D

Proactive is basically Benzoyl Peroxide. That is it. You can buy it at Wal-Mart and apply the real stuff to your affected areas.

However, if you are using a prescription for your skin, I wouldn't use anything that harsh until you check with you doctor.

I can tell you my daughter had the worst skin. She ended up on Accutaine. We used Phisoderm to wash. Very gentle.

Proceed with caution.
