If you mean this YA category, I love it that so many kindred spirits are online - I fall into the Zen Buddhist/atheist group, which can be a lonely one. it's fascinating to see where other people are along their path of spiritual development and/or quest for truth...

there are several things I find interesting about religion and spirituality... I study all kinds of religions... and I come here looking around for someone that can have a discussion about religion without getting all bent when someone disagrees with their position. I suppose that's one of the reasons I ask the questions that I do... their purpose is not so much to get answers... but to weed out the people who think there is no way that they could be wrong. Why did I start with Christians? Because they are an obvious target. Who else gets so up in arms when they are told that they just might be wrong? Tell that to a Buddhist... they'll agree with you... then where's the debate? I do enjoy discussing and debating religion... ask anyone who is near me. But I don't want to debate a point with someone who thinks that there's no way they are wrong. They just get all mad and then where's the debate? It's no longer debate, it's just an argument... and I get enough of those at home. I plan to branch off my questions to other faiths once I find people willing to hear me out on the Christian side.

By the way... I have found a couple Christians who seem willing to look at the other side of the coin.

religion and spirituality can be two completely different things, i like to think im very spiritual, i love the notion that there more then just a physical being that defines me, your soul or your spirit is just something i like to believe in as a purer sense of our existence, i guess religion provides comfort for most people, im a bit of a history buff i love history and every sign of history points to the notion that religion is a man made notion which basically i guess provides meaning, hope some sense of justification for mankinds lust greed and characteristics. i think that the beauty or what what fascinates me about religion is its baility to instill social order, i personally think if religion was "fake" it would be created to instill social order, it teaches morals, values and creates a society where there are actions and repurcations. even if religions were all fake they still serve a great social function which is why i think we definetely should have them if people are going to be trying to be better law abiding citizens because of the morals their religions teaches them.

we cant prove or disprove religions its based on pure faith and taht has got ot be the most enticing feeling, believeing in something so completely, without having to pay to enjoy it, i think theres a innocence to that idea of giving ur self comepletely to something, although cults do tend to brainwash people. i personally hate cults especially extremist ones which claim to be the one or the saviours or racist ones i think that is not religion its just ludacrous.

I find it really strange that otherwise intelligent people will ignore their own findings and readily accept statements that cannot possibly be true.
Like-
Mary was a Virgin.
Jesus rose from the dead.
These two statements are physically impossible, and yet, presented as a miracle, they become the tenets of your faith.

Religion is purely man made. Spirituality is spiritual and no one can explain either one. We are all guessing. Blessings to You.

I find it amusing that so many people can follow a teaching that in one hand tells you to love your enemy as your god has loved you and on the other hand tells you that you will be tortured if you don't love your god. Seems to me like god is a school yard bully that wants to be liked but just can't quit making people fear him.
