Is that all right? I'm a bit freaked since recently my friend (21) had hers removed. I don't even see them coming in. I thought they were supposed to come in when you're a teen or something... The dentist, a while ago, said I have a crowded mouth, so maybe that's the reason? I'm freaked!! O_O

Go to your dentist and express your concern. They can take a Pan x ray (assuming they have that machine) that will show if you have them and the position of them. Most likely you have them, but they are impacted. It is also possible, but less likely they never formed.

Don't freak out--wisdom teeth can come in anywhere between your teens and early twenties, so you've got time. Next time you go to the dentist, ask for x-rays to show where they are (ready to emerge, in the right position or not, etc.). Some people don't even have wisdom teeth at all, and some only have two instead of four. It really varies. You're right, though, most people don't have room for them, or they try to come in the wrong way, and have to be pulled. It's not that bad.

I wouldn't worry about it. I am 17 and I don't even have some of my 12 year molars yet. My dentist always says it's better for them to come late than too soon.
If anything your wisdom teeth could be coming up in the wrong direction. You might want to have an x-ray done to see what's going on. Don't freak...It just takes awhile for teeth to come up sometimes.
I hope this little tidbit helps you.

Have a very Merry Christmas!

Sounds like a repeat of my life.
I cut my last permanent tooth in college.
My dentist also told me I had no room for wisdom teeth. I think I was about 22 when I went ot the dentist and he said they all 4 were in - I never even know or felt a thing. They're still in my mouth and have never been a problem at all.

Mine never came in. The Dentist saw them on an x-ray "trying" to come in but were not able to erupt because my mouth was so crowded. I had them surgically removed instead of being pulled. Maybe that is the case with you. If you haven't had x-rays in a while, go in for a cleaning and get them.

I'm 23, will be 24 in 2 months. ME NEITHER! so what. I actually only have 3, a 4th one just never developed, not that it hasnt come down, NONE have come down, but one isn't even the gum. Don't go thru surgery unless they bother you. If you go to the dentist regularly and they say you are ok, then trust them. No pain? No problem!

I am 23 and I have never got my wisdom teeth in as yet either. My friend is a Dental Hygentist and she told me that not everyone gets their wisdom teeth. It all just depends on the person. Neither of my parents had theirs grow in either. You may never have to worry about it, so don't fret. Just be thankful! I hear it's pretty painful to get them removed!
