I can't imagine why you'd need an excuse.
I never follow dead people.

Someone needs to buy you a thesaurus and a dictionary for Christmas so that you can look up the definitions of "excuse" and "reason" in the dictionary, then double-check the thesaurus to confirm that they are not, in fact synonymous.

I don't need excuses not to be a sheep. Have you ever watched sheep? Because they'll literally follow the leader off a cliff without blinking. If the leader doesn't turn left, the flock is actually not capable of turning left. I'm considerably more intelligent than a sheep, and quite able to make my own decisions - like deciding not to follow Christianity (when you get that dictionary and thesaurus, be sure to look up "decide," since that's also not synonymous with "excuse").

Christ is a Fictional character that someone thought up and managed to have many people follow the book. Let me counter your question by asking Why do people find REASONS to follow Christ?

I don't personally understand why people find a need to put so much passion in a book that someone decided to write up, and then live their life using the stories to base their life on.

what excuses, you mean like facts. i think that the fact that the biblical jesus didn't exist is a good reason not to follow him. if people followed every imaginary thing who knows what might happen. they could end up worshipping an invisible pink unicorn or a plate of spaghetti and meatballs.

People don't follow stranger around. They only follow a leader they know. They must be given the opportunity to get to know Him better.

The world is in rebellion against God. The are rebellious because they're influenced by the prince of the power of the air (aka, satan). Some people think that if they don't accept God, they can avoid the penalty for sin. Nothing could be further from the truth. God's will is going to be done, whether we accept Him or reject Him.

I need no excuse.
If your Christ exists, and he wants me, he can ask me himself.

I don't play games, and I don't worship gods who play games. If he exists, he knows exactly the criteria I have for those I would worship, and since he chooses to not meet those criteria, he either does not exist or does not want me as a worshipper.

Most people do not have schizoid delusional mental disorders so they are not interested in "following" fictional characters from bronze age middle eastern goat herders fairy tales dear.

I don't need an excuse to not follow your God.

I read the Bible and all of the reasons just poured themselves out.
