I took a girl to prom once (a million years ago) and I have to say she was the prettiest girl there. The date was going well and after the dance we decided to cruise around until the sun came up. She got hungry so I stopped at a c-store to get her a snack. When I came out about 2 minutes later she was gone. I thought we was in the bathroom so I waited and waited. This was like 2:00 am and I sat there until 5 not knowing what to do. I called her parents and told them she disappeared. I was really worried about her. They finally said to just go home so I did. This girl called me late the next day. While I was in the store her exboyfriend pulled up, too drunk to drive and in that short span of 2 minutes they got back together and she drove him home. They're married now and have many kids. I got over it eventually. I was embarrassed for a while. It's still a fun story to tell though. Just one of many bad date stories I have...lol

A blind date
We went to see circe du solei...we went by my fave Mexican place before..The owner sent over the best dishes and free tequila..he had to drink milk because his mommy said it would help him counteract the spicy food. Take in to consideration he was 30. We get into the car to go to the show and he brings out Whitesnake..." I heard you were into heavy metal"...um hmmm....it was either that or Amy Grant...ok..need I say more!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ouch. Hope things turned for the better.
You mentioning prom brought something to mind. I dated someone two years younger than me and it was the night before Prom (for her).
We went to a Skinny Puppy concert (yes that was a real band) and we ended up behind her ex (my friend) in traffic. I was yelled at and I think the word stupid was even used when I happened to follow him into one of the parking lots. She apologized and we went to the concert where I was a go-between for half the evening. After I wandered off a bit torqued and returned to a questioning "you Ok?" expression, it basically became a silent evening.
The next day she was going to prom with my friend. He let me know that they had actually gone to another of her ex's house where the dress was unloaded from his car and put into the other guy's. I didn't necessarily feel vindicated but it was one of the eye openers to what a tameless heart I was dealing with at the time.
To be fair. I was a pretty rotten young man, myself, especially during that rollercoaster ride of a relationship.
Strange times.

Wow, I'm so sorry that is a horrible story. I hope it didn't scar you for life. I hope she at least had the courtesy to call you and apologize.
As for me my worst date was a "blind" date. I used to babysit for a family on a regular basis. The father was the basketball coach. I gave the their "little girls" my graduation picture and the assistant basketball coach saw the pic and I guess wanted a date with me.
The family was really nice and although I just didn't like the idea of a blind date, they begged me, so I relented and accepted the date.
The guy was at least 10 years older than me and..........it was totally awkward. I'm still carrying the scars. We had NOTHING in common.

th worst date ever was when i was like 16 (im 20 now) and this guy named duncan took me to the movies. the whole time all he wanted to do was sexual stuff...he was so lame! he was so not even my type. to this day i have no idea why i went out with him...but anyway... i while we were watching the movie, i secretly texted one of my friends to come and get me. i told him i had to go to the bathroom and i left him there. similar to ur story in a way..huh? lol i havent spoke to him since and thank god cause he was such a perv!
