Your question is very confusing. Religious scriptures aren't supposed to tell about what existed They are a system of beliefs or myths that give some kind of explanation of how this all appeared. It concerns "humanity", and is not supposed to be a course on paleonthology.
So God thought it would be good to to all this and created earth and put man in it. Period.
Another point is, if you are a christian , if you are talking how much is true in the Genesis... The Genesis is a compilation of older myths coming from the Summerians, and such alike.
If you read the first 2 or 3 pages of the Genesis it doesn't resist 3 seconds to a logical analysis. and don't think this is arrogance: in the middle ages people were burned for asking naive questions. What is the Truth that needs to burn to stay firm? In the 17th century Galileo was almost burned too for saying the sun was moving, in the 18 century people were still burned here in Portugal!!
So analysis is allowed today just because it is indifferent to most people
Do you remember "the spirit of God was over the waters"...So there were the waters first and then God made the earth?
how come God made Adam and Eve and they were the first, but then Caim went away after killing Abel and married and had children? And what about the Elohim that looked at the daughters of men ? And how come Jeova sent the Deluge to punish mankind instead of trying to correct them lovingly,, it could speak from the lips of prophets , and when Noah came out of the Ark and roasted some cattle Jeovah was pleased with the smell(?) what kind of God needs to eat and likes the smell of roast?. What kind of monster asks a father to immolate his only child?
If you want to know what all this was about in the Bible you better read Sitchin.
About the Dinossaurs. Yes they existed long ago but don't you be sure there weren't human people at that time. There weren't human people who left their bones to be found in excavations. That's a completely different perspective. Human death by aging is relatively recent. Some 40 000 years ago, or less. Ascending existed long ago. That was called the golden age. The aging process is a mutation. The loss of memory from previous lives is also a mutation ( 9562 BC). That was the final end of the "Fall of Atlantis " which happened aproximatively between 26000 to 9562 BC.
I think in that period , and before , there were the true Angelic Human and other primates. Most primates that resemble man(Big primates like orangotangs), were results from mutations and experiences done in the Human kind, and not the other way round as we are taught. Human kind has been over this earth for several million of years, and was put here in earth several times, by the creator races. We were put here, not evolved from monkeys. In this little point the creationists are right. But they know just a tiny bit. Human race was strongly mutated and degenerated since.
So if you want some more explanations of the kind you may write to me.

You will be going around in circles with the religious ones on this. They say the 6 days was not 6 days because back then a day was a longer time period. That scientific evidence is not evidence because its not gods evidence. you wait and see.
Basically the bible is a book so open to interpretation you could argue anything you want, and they will.
I say stick to what we KNOW. Dinosaur bones are around, we are here now, the earth is very very old and the bible is just some politically changed version of some fairy tales made to keep the dumb Masses in line.

Logically one could say that the bible was written by men and not God so the bible is not perfect since men are flawed. Also why would God bring up dinosaurs? It was millions of years ago, he didn`t mention the structure of our galaxy or explain his choices about how the world would look. Lots of stuff isn`t mentioned in the bible and a lack on inclusion does not disprove God. Course for all we know there was a whole verse about dinosaurs that was lost over the years. The bible wasn`t keep in like a God created box. People wrote it, carried it around with them and had it copied by hand all before we got this translation of it. Lots of steps to miss 'and oh yeah God made really big lizards like a million years ago'.
Or you could go with the 'dinosaurs were on the ark' explanation: http://www.conservapedia.com/Dinosaur
It always makes me laugh. Quite a bit of flawed logic but it`s an example of how people can believe different things or something.
Someone once told me how wonderful God was to have created cells since they were so amazing. I broke into laughter at that point and was glared at a bit. The universe is so much more complex and amazing than a single cell and God created it all. How could any one book explain all of God`s creation? Why do people try to squish all the awe and wonder that there is in the world into something written by man? Isn`t it more likely that we will never understand all there is to know and that God had a reason for that?
Course I`m not Christian, just answering your question. ^-^

I've no problem with accepting dinosaurs as part of earth's history, they are simply animals that existed before man ever set foot on earth. You are confusing ordinary Christians (who believe that the stories in the Bible are allegories, not to be taken literally) with fundamentalists (who believe in the Bible word for word). God created the earth, but not in 6 (24 hour) days but in periods of millions of years. How He did it we don't know and never will know. If he created man by evolution, I've no problem with that either.
All I am sure about is that everything did not come about by accident ,as many atheists suggest. Eyes aren't 'accidentally' sensitive to light waves, ears aren't 'accidentally' sensitive to sound waves. Our intestines do not 'accidentally' have just the exact chemicals to break down the different foods we eat...separate enzymes for proteins, fats and carbohydrates.
Life is MUCH too awesome to have been a complete and utter fluke or accident.

the "god" you are talking about is an invention by some leaders of desert tribes to try and explain about life and humans etc and to keep some sort of influence and authority over them. The had no knowledge of our discoveries about evolution which show that their explanation was nonsense in the factual sense and only had some possible spiritual value. So just accept that the earth is several billions of years old and that other creatures including dinosaurs once inhabited the earth and that if you need some sort of spiritual support find a religious organisation that suits you

Well there is the creation of the world? Im sure you know. Well i was a bit ouzzled by this too but my RE teacher explained that it was how god made it but not exactly all the way we think. Evalution did happen but God made it happen, we did eventually have humans, fish etc. God created teh world first by the gases, creating bacteria into dinosaurs who how ever you make them and then they died from the big bang which brought the new revelution. Thats the only thing that stops me believeing in god but in a way it makes sense.

Christ was a person before the creation of the earth and he was quadzillion years old, for he created all the universe under the direction of God. Everything existed before it was placed on the earth even as Christ existed before. The hosts of heaven (spirit children of God) were there including you and I and Satan, a star of the morning, vip. He was cast down to earth along with a third of the hosts for rebellion, to make it difficult for you and I and the others who would be born later.
He doesn't have a physical body but he would like to take yours and mine over if we will give him a chance. Otherwise he will have to be satisfied with swine.

If God exists, then God would have created the Dinosaurs as well as all other living creatures. Evolution, in reality, contrary to what some religious as well as scientists think, is neutral when it comes to God. You can have BOTH. Here's the difference between creationism and evolution. Creationism thinks the creatures were all created out of nothing, point blank in the forms they have now. Creation is fixed and static. Not a very good system to use by God. Evolution allows greater diversity, greater adaptation to a changing environment. Creation is fixed, static and done and over with, a one time deal. Evolution is creation in progress, a continuing story, a never-ending drama. The evidence for a static creation is absolutely NIL. The evidence for Evolution is so overwhelming that none can deny it without wholesale and intentional ignorance of the facts.. Even the Church of Rome has officially endorced a modified version of Evolutionary theory as have the Jews and Muslims. Our Mother Gaia is ancient, and the process of Evolution need not be solely an event here on this planet. There are trees living right now, whose age is greater than the supposed age of the Earth as defined by Archbishop Usher of the Church of England who calculated the date of creation at 4004 B.C.E. Taking ice samples from Anarctica by drilling, the ice forms layers like the rings on a tree. This ice sheet is known to have been in existence in excess of 100,000 years and likely more than 250,000 y;ears. And the fossil record, which although it can be misinterpreted, unlike the works of humans, cannot lie. This continent once had a balmy climate and was teeming with life but NOT A SINGLE SPECIES FOUND IN THE FOSSILS OF ANARCTICA EXIST TODAY ANYWHERE ON THIS PLANET. Creationism cannot explain this, Evolution can. Whether you prefer to believe in Evolution with God or without makes no difference to me, either way, Evolution, which has everything going for it and nothing but ancient traditions against, is a fact. It is probably the best Theory in all the sciences and has the greatest body of data and evidence behind it of any Theory in science. The same type of genius that infered evolutionary processes is one and the same with the genius of Copernicus that infered that the Earth is not the center of the Universe with the Sun, Planets and Stars encircling the Earth, or the genius of the Greek Mathematician who proved the Earth was spherical in shape by observation of the difference between the angle of the Sun taken from two different locations on the same date, same time. Tradition, which was based on appearances, but not reality and made the Earth a flat disk and the Sky a fixed rigid dome from which the stars are hung like Xmas tree ornaments. The same genius that led to knowledge of Evolutionary processes, the ongoing saga of Creation, was that which overthrew the ancient and widespread superstition that diseases were caused by evil spirits and Earthquakes and Volcano Eruptions and Hurricanes were punishments for sin. These ancient superstitions are still with us today, even tho' they should have long since died out. We can thank Science for showing us the realities that underlie appearances or at least SOME of them. But, like life itself, Science is a work in progress, it is not complete, it is not final. As yet, we still don't know everthing about this single planet of ours and almost diddley-squat about the rest of the Universe, or whether or not our own Universe is nothing but a part of an infinite Multi-verse.
For a long time scientists thought matter to be primary. Through the discoveries of Quantum Mechanics it more and more looks like matter is a big illusion, a great big nothing, and it is MIND that is primary and if all the little minds are but facets of ONE SINGLE MIND. What have you got?
God. While scientists and theologians still battle over Creationism vs. Evolution, or whether or not God exists, I a philosopher, mathematician, say "Fie" to all of this. I assert rather "ONLY GOD EXISTS, all else is illusion."

The dates of the Bible, which were calculated by man, are incorrect. God did create the dinosaurs and we did evolve through intelligent design. Dinosaurs are mentioned in the OT. The earth is billions of years old.

First, there is nothing in the creation accounts in the Torah that says the YHWH, as God who is all powerfuyl, all knowing and well able to do as He pleases, could not have used the process of evolution so as to create all of life on this planet or anywhere else in HIs vast creation known to humans as the cosmos.
To say otherwise is to try to limit the power and ability of YHWH/God to do what He pleases as He pleases.
Remember, it does not ever say that YHWH/God is a cheap side show magician who pulls creation out of His hat (i.e., "Look, nothing up my sleeve...")
As to how dinosaurs might fit into YHWH/God's plan, you will have to refer that question to the Creator Himself as no one knows the MInd of God but God Himself.
