If you firmly believe you are right, then 'put your money where your mouth is' means to back up your point of view, to wager on being right. Also used to confront somebody that may be lying - asking them to bet money as you think they are wrong

Its basically telling someone to bet money to prove what they are actually saying. so for example if you say to me "i can do 50 back flips in a row without getting dizzy" I would say put your money where your mouth is.. meaning lets make a bet to prove it.

It means to act instead of just talking about it.
ie:
to support something that you believe in, especially by giving money. -- If people are really interested in helping the homeless they should put their money where their mouth is.

It means the guy has said enough about what he believes in and the girl wants him to prove it by investing time and money into it.
It could be used in an investment where somebody is trying to sell something, but if they truly believed in the investment, then they too should be investing in it.
It could also be used in a relationship, although it is not very romantic. It would be telling somebody to invest in the relationship, particularly with money for expensive dates, gifts, an engagement ring, or wedding costs.

I would interpret that phrase as: Since you say and claim that you can do such and such, prove to me then.
