Or do you just read the map of what they did? Jesus meditated in the desert for 40 days? Moses meditated on Mt. Sinai. John the Revelator took some medicine to get those visions. Paul of Tarsas fell off a horse and talked directly to Jesus. Do any of todays religious leaders do that? How can you know God if all you do is read about him? Isn't that like saying you're a master Carpenter because you read the Home Depot book on Carpentry?

The Word of God, Jesus, wants me to put the bible back in it's rightful place. Too many people are worshipping it instead of God.

I have asked the same question. If i read how a 747 was built, and then built one, would you ride on it? I wouldn't . but most athesit think that. Read God's word once, and then think that they understand the word.

I search for him no longer because I have found him. I talk with him many times a day everyday.
I try real hard to read his word everyday for it is his word that gives me comfort, strength and the ammo to face my faults.

I KNOW God because He DOES what He SAYS He will do--
IF I do what He shows me to do to have a better life.

I SEARCH FOR GOD DAILY in EVERY thing I do.

He does not want you to mock the Bible, either.
I would watch it,.......
