I grew up worrying I'd been left behind if I couldn't hear anyone in the house, occasionally, If i haven't heard from any of my Christian friends or family all day, then go home and no-one's there but should be, I still do!

I'm not scared, I can't wait to be with Jesus! I guess it's the being left behind thing I'm anxious about...

Thessalonians mentions Christians being caught up to meet the Lord in the air and so we call this event the rapture. You need not worry about being left behind as it will all be over before you know it. I see some of the comments from others who have denied the rapture; what a pity they will be left behind to go through the tribulation as they simply don't believe it will happen. The people of Noah's day didn't believe Noah either and they all died. As you have taken Jesus as your Savior, He will not forsake you; He will take you on His return. God Bless!

The Bible says that "perfect love casts out fear..." So fear and anxiety are not of God. God wants His people to be ready when He comes back to rapture His Church. He is coming back for a people who are without spot or blemish. If you have been filled with the Holy Ghost evidenced by speaking in other tongues (John 3:1-8, Acts 2:38-39, Acts 10, 16, 8) and baptized in Jesus Name for the remission of your sins and living a life of victory over sin by denying the flesh and living in the Spirit then you have nothing to fear. But if you haven't obeyed the Gospel and believed on the Lord Jesus then fear is the only response you can have because your spirit realizes it needs to be saved. I would suggest obeying the Gospel and finding an Apostolic Church to go to (upci.org "church locator")

What is a Rapture,You should not be to caught up in Religeon for therin lies Madness. I have known a few People that got to involved in Religeon and had Nervous breakdowns, they ended up being Guilty of everything. They thought they committed a load of bad stuff , when it really was only in there mind. They ended up in a corner praying all the time, hunched up with a frightened look on their faces and in Mental Institutions. So take Religeon with a Pinch of Salt do not believe everything you hear, it is all basically Mythical anyway.

First I must state I don't beleive in the notion of a rapture as it is not part of early church teachings.- Read the early church fathers and you will see it's not there they expected to face tribulation, and lead others to Christ by thier death and suffering. Any how just don't worry about it just have faith in Christ and pray to be used for his glory. You need to foucus on how to best minster to those around us. wether it be charity or simply being a good ear.

no you shouldn't be anxious or scared. Just have patience and Jesus will return for his people.
If it helps read the Left Behind series by Jerry B Jenkins and Tim LaHaye, if you haven't yet. Even the kids ones are good.

True Christians have no reason to be anxious about the rapture, since there is no scripture that supports the idea of a rapture.

Don't be worried about being left behind - if you are here, Jesus hasn't taken you yet, but don't worry remember that he is the farmer and he reaps what he sows...

The "rapture" concept first appeared in the early 1800's in the U.S.

There is very, very, very, very, very little (if any) biblical basis for the concept.

So, no need to be "anxious/worried" about it.
