I would think "Everclear", as it is almost straight up grain alcohol. It smells just like isopropyl (rubbing) alochol, kinda like Vodka. Nasty!

No alcoholic drink with a sugary additive...sticky colas and such would defeat the purpose of cleansing. Pure Grain alcohol should work just fine.

I would use rubbing alcohol with NO additive...and use with a cue tip...NOT on a pool stick!!!!

Simple : the purer the alcohol, the better.

No sugars, no fat as they tend to stick to the diamonds surface.
