LOL...gotta love the Chrysler dealers. Ask them for the 800 number for customer service, and use it. Make a formal complaint, in a professional manner.

Don't accept that as an answer. That's ridiculous.

Funny, and where else are you supposed to sit then, if sitting on the seat is excessive??? So are there only certain days or times that you can sit in the seat then? Are there now weight limits on the seats? What kind of dealership is that stating excessive sitting on seat. That's just so funny.

That's like the chevy dealership trying to blame me for the transmission parts in my 2006 chevy cobalt warping due to the cheap aluminum and plastic parts.

You were using a seat to sit on? That's crazy, and a misuse of the seat. They should fine people like you. ;) I worked for Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge and they're a bunch of clowns. That's just the type of BS I used to have to feed people to get their money for the dealer. Get a Customer Support number and complain. Good Luck!

Excessive sitting??? That's a new one. Last time I checked, that's what chairs were for. And obviously, after only 12,000 km that's unacceptable. I think it just comes down to them not wanting to pay for it. Get in contact with Chrysler's customer service line. Like someone said before, do it professionally, but be firm.

Bypass the dealer and Contact the Company main number that you can find on the Manual. Dealers are messed up. One dealer want to charge me 50$ for changing light Bulb on my rear light. It cost me 5$ (for 2 bulbs) and 5 Minutes

Give the service dept hell and they'll fix it. My pass. side window fell out at 28,000 and they gave me that same excuse. I told them where I was going to put that jeep and they fixed it.
