A few say it is not possible to get rid of all the illegals who are here. Note that I said "cause to get rid of". If we enforce our laws, threaten to punish, fine and jail the 20,30, 40 million who are here illegally, they will leave on their own accord. Watch how fast they Vamoose !

I agree with you that having open borders and between 20 and 38 million illegal aliens in our country is the greatest problem that American faces today. I will only vote for a candidate who is for getting tough on the illegal alien invaders.

For those interested in securing our borders and denying amnesty to most of the 20 million or more illegal aliens in our country, you have only three presidential candidates from which to choose. None of the Democrat candidates are acceptable as they all support legalizing the illegal aliens in our country. Howard Dean, the Chairman of the Democratic National Committee, stated, "All the Democratic presidential candidates are clear" in supporting a path to citizenship for illegal aliens, he said, adding that the presidential nominee will set the party's position.

As for the GOP candidates, Giuliani, McCain, and Huckabee have very poor records when it comes to enforcing our country’s immigration laws, and Thompson and Romney have mediocre records. That leaves Tancredo, Hunter, and Paul. Tancredo has no chance, and although Hunter is a very good man with an excellent record on immigration, he is far behind Ron Paul in national opinion polls. If we are to elect a president who will get tough on the illegal aliens who have shown no respect for our country’s laws, then we must back Ron Paul for president. Ron Paul is the real candidate for change!

Yes. I am in the same boat you are in because I will not just lay down and be a doormat. I was threatened with physical violence last night in the Wal-mart parking lot when after witnessing a fender bender. I called the cops because one of the drivers did not have a drivers license or insurance and admitted being an illegal. He told the other driver to go into the store and call the cops so he could screw his old lady while he was gone. I understand Spanish very well and called the police. The illegal alien was threatening me when the police arrived and I asked the police officer to restrain him. He took a swing at me thinking a cripple with a cane would be an easy mark. I darn near killed the fool. A cane makes a wonderful night stick. Then the police arrested him for a number of offenses and called border patrol to pick up his family.

I absolutely am behind you on this one. I'm not normally a single issue voter, but am considering it greatly at the time. We have to have someone that will do the right thing about this issue. Not grant amnesty, not give licenses, not give social services, and not give an inch to these criminals. Tom Tnacredo is all for shipping them all back, but he is nowhere in the polls, so it comes down to Guiliani, Romney, Huckabee, and McCain. McCain is out because he loves him some illegals, and Guiliani was running a sanctuary city in New York, so he is gone. With only two choices left I hope one comes out ahead of the dims because there is no way the dims will do anything about this but cater to them.

Yes only 1s for enforcement of the laws>Closing the borders>Deporting the illegals>That leaves all the DEM.s and a few REP out>Not much left>Tom & Duncan only 1s that are full on against illegals>But the media won't give them a chance to show>As there for the Dems & illegals>

I'm not sure it is possible to send ALL the illegals back, but I definitely will vote for the candidate that will close the border and STOP the leaks and at the very least try to determine who is here and get rid of the ones that mean us harm.

I'm English but know where you're coming from and that will be a key issue in the next election here. This is a small country as you may well know but we're over run with immigrants, legal or illegal and they keep coming.

I totall agree with you here because if we keep allowing them to enter this country... pretty soon it will be taken over. Think about it... they come here and milk the system and have 3, 4 and 5 kids because our tax money is paying for them. The average american couple can just afford to have 1 or 2 kids. We get no help. Some one NEEDS to put a stop to this NOW. Before it's too late. Enough is enough.

I feel exactly the same way. We HAVE to put a stop to this. There are currently between 21-30million illegals in the US. Why are we supporting these people? I will vote for Ron Paul. I think he is our best chance to getting these sponges out of the US.

That's the single most issue that I don't like about the Bush administration. To be honest with you I have not heard anything from any candidate that really has said anything promising about the border issue.
