It is just part of his generally nasty and sadistic personality.

Remember, this is a God that: drowned nearly every living thing he had created just because he was in a bad mood; led his “chosen people’ on a wild goose chase for 40 years while systematically killing 80-85% of them; and spends his spare time flinging disease, pestilence, natural disasters, and all manner of pox upon humanity just as fast as he can.

I do not assume that God does not punish us-he allows many to suffer the consequences for their actions. There are different types of motivation that people respond to (not just the negative with punishment).
To "punish us while we are living and changing" would defeat the positive motivation God has provided by sending Jesus to die on the cross so all sins can be forgiven of those who believe. 8:)

As I've said before, over the years, continuous revisions of scrolls have been traced and the term "hell" is actually meant in earlier times as "eternal sleep."

To believe in the whole "Pentacostal/Catholic" system of religeon is to accept that you are a lab rat...and some big scientist is watching you, studying you and laughing....

We create our own circumstances, consequenses....etc....Why else would we as individuals be different? We are who we are....perfect as designed, with flaws (what a contradiction).....You can't be the girl next to you, cause you're you...but feel trapped, like change to be something else is impossible....That feeling inside, is really because you were designed to operate and be only you!

I think the concept of "god punishing" is a fallucy to gain control by means of fear....

The whole conception of your question is wrong from the start, because you have poor knowledge of religion and what God is, your regard god as your next door neighbor, therefore all your questions will simply be "silly".
To answer your question anyway, i have to take you back to the beginning so you can understand what's coming, god gave a promise to not intervene(before time) in humans life until the day of judgment, why you might ask?? because he created the man perfectly and showed him right from wrong, and life is a test/exam room. some will pass and some will just fail but the human being is weak and have tendency to forget (like you) .

God does nothing to punish men here on Earth, God does not praise man here on Earth. Earth isn't even real, when you die you go where you belong and for the first time it will be real.

God certainly does punish us now for the things we do.

1 Timothy 5:24 The sins of some men are quite evident, going before them to judgment; for others, their sins follow after.

God has punished humanity for their sins (the flood),but after the flood he said he wouldn't do it again until the end of the earth. He doesn't like sin and gave everyone a way to be forgiven of our sins (Jesus died on the cross). So in the end when you stand before him he will see if you chose Jesus and was forgiven or if you didn't and your sin is still with you.

in my opinion, human beings deliver themselves to a state of hell. people who reject God and refuse to love Him actively distance themselves from Him. Rejection of God of course begets torment as God is existence and Love. Sin is that distancing. If God became to make each and every person save on with Him and Love Him, that love might have not have been given any meaning. Love demands decision. human beings may be robots. Quoted from the question: "shouldn't 'He' comprehend each and every of the recommendations we make and our comments as a exchange of punishing us for doing something we would have enjoyed to?" There are 2 replies to this: He does comprehend each and every of the recommendations we make. He enables us to cause them to, regardless of the outcomes. -additionally- this theory is comparable to ethical relativism, which in certainty negates the potential of absolute certainty. If all (which for this reason is composed of many contradictory recommendations and strikes) issues are taken as the two valid, not something is particularly authentic and valid. 2 is decrease than 3; there won't be able to be 3 is decrease than 2 on an identical time whilst nonetheless having the two propose something. God is absolute certainty; for this reason, this theory is fake. one greater project: Ascribing to this theory might propose that one can comprehend God's options, maximum suitable? shouldn't we do comprehend God's options with the help of residing the way He made us to stay? i wish you hit upon a stable answer for this issue. +God Bless

Hell, Hades or Sheol means the common grave of mankind, it was a fiery pit where the bodies of the dead were burned. Hell is no longer a literal place and your not going there once you die.

Punishment doesn't cause discipline.
Punishment is a function of discipline.
Punishment is a guilt-ridden, moralistic, sadistic attempt to make someone into something else.
Punishment doesn't change anything, otherwise the prison system in the US would be a success instead of a failure.
If punishment made positive change, then we'd all see society
learn from its punishment of "bad people" and slowly but surely we'd see the decline in crime; but we don't.
Punishment does nothing.
There is no purpose to suffering, to pain, to change.
Life is empty and meaningless.
